Rivercrest playmaker Jayden Young Jayden Young 6’3″ | SG Little Rock Southwest | 2026 State AR has killer speed, he loves to play up-tempo and will make your defense work all game. Young has a high motor that fits right in with his athleticism. Passing the ball and putting it in the right spot for his teammates seem to be some of his favorite tasks on the court too. His court vision is tremendous, it’s like he sees the game one play ahead of everybody else. He tends to draw attention from penetrating and he’s adept at finding the open man through the traffic. Creating and playmaking may be his best asset but he can light it up on the floor. Quick footwork in the lane gives him access to easy buckets. He leads in scoring most games due to an accurate jump shot, good free throw shooting, and good shot taking IQ.

Senior point guard Luke Kirk for the Manila Lions is a fierce competitor. He gives it 110% effort no matter if it’s offense, defense, or loose ball you can bet Kirk is somewhere apart of the mix. He plays good off ball defense, you’ll often catch him tracking the ball down for a block from the help side. Luke is most definitely a sharpshooter with the combo of good accuracy and nice range he gives opponents a hassle when trying to guard him because he has the quickness to blow by them.

Ty Palermo is a jack of all trades who’s beginning to heat up in his freshman season for the Cougars. The 6’4 forward can knock down smooth shots over defenders and soar above the rim to throw it down. He’s a solid post player, offensively he likes to turn and face and attack the basket. Ty will hustle on the boards and is good at using his frame to box out and snag rebounds. He often uses some nice footwork and control to score when he is roaming down low. The Lafeyette Co. freshman can guard positions 1-5 because he is extremely agile and covers ground exceptionally well. He displays this with swats at the rim and he can step out on ballhandlers using quickness and length to disrupt offenses.

Sophomore combo guard John McAlister is an elite shooter with skill and confidence. John plays good defense with great timing on the ball for plenty of steals. He will surprise you with his athleticism using quick moves and cuts to free himself up. He can knock down shots from deep range at a very high rate. The Greyhound guard is valuable around the rim too where he finishes ambidextrously with ease. McAlister brings efficient scoring and calculated playmaking to the court.
