There are Top 10 matchups, conference battles with a lot at stake, rivalry games, and much more on the slate. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana will be your one stop shop for all the latest news and notes throughout the evening. Let's take a look at five of the biggest games to follow around the state tonight.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fort Wayne Wayne @ Bishop Luers</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This will be a battle for Fort Wayne supremacy. The Wayne General are 12-3 on the season after rattling off four straight wins, but will have a tough test having to go on the round this evening to Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A #2 Bishop Luers. Led by [player_tooltip player_id='1749047' first='Dereon' last='Truesdale'] and Drelyn Treusdale, the Knights are 13-1 on the season. It'll be a fun contest watching them go against [player_tooltip player_id='1158193' first='Jevon' last='Lewis'] and company. Likely to be a high-scoring affair.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Palestine @ Yorktown</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There might not be a player in the state of Indiana having a better season, certainly in terms of a breakout season, than New Palestine junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578425' first='Julius' last='Gizzi']. The Dragons have lost two straight, but took Class 4A #1 Lawerence North down to the wire on Wednesday and is still 11-4 on the season. Gizzi is averaging an incredible 30.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Yorktown remains underrated as well at 9-6 with some impressive wins. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578430' first='Kieran' last='Tewari'] is having a good season for the Tigers averaging 14.7 points per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">North Central @ Warren Central</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two of the best under-the-radar teams in Indianapolis with go at it this evening in a conference showdown. North Central is 9-5, but all losses have come to Top 10 teams and two of them were recently against #1 Lawrence North. This should be a really interesting matchup on the east side tonight.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Princeton @ Evansville Memorial</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two of the best Class 3A teams down in the Pocket City will face-off tonight as 11-3 Princeton travels to 8-5 Evansville Memorial who is ranked #6 in Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A Poll. Unsigned senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1578479' first='Tucker' last='Tornatta'] is having an Indiana All-Star level season averaging 17.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while junior [player_tooltip player_id='1539999' first='Luke' last='Ellspermann'] adds 15.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. As for Princeton, junior sharp-shooter [player_tooltip player_id='1578401' first='Jace' last='Jenkins'] is putting up 21.0 points per game. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'] is one to watch as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Providence @ Christian Academy</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For folks down near the river, this is the game to watch tonight. Christian Academy is on a roll right now sitting at 13-1, ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Poll, and recent wins over programs like Silver Creek and Paoli. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297066' first='Joshua' last='Renfro'] is averaging 21.9 points per game while shooting over 46% from three-point range. Classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1749327' first='David' last='Cook'] is having a great season as well averaging 16.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The Pioneers have lost two of their last three games, but are still 11-3 on the season and are ranked #5 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Poll.
