With over 30 teams and hundreds of college coaches in attendance, the Hoop Hall Prep Showcase had tons of talent from all over the country and is always one of the top events in the country.
Here’s a look at part six some of the standouts from the New England schools in attendance.
Jorjan Flores | 6’2” WG | Springfield Commonwealth 2024
Flores opened the event with an absolute bang, as he went right at Massanutten in a close loss where he took the game over in a special way, paricularly in the second half. Flores showed the ability to score it from all over with his barrage of three-pointers from deep, his ability to attack closeouts and get to spots and he got to the line often as well. He finished with 31 points on 53%/55%/75% splits and pitched in 8 rebounds in their loss to Massanutten.
Tyler Betsey Tyler Betsey 6'8" | SF St. Thomas More | 2024 State #32 Nation NLG | 6’8″ WF | St. Thomas More 2024
The Cincinatti commit is one of the best players in New England on one of the top teams in all of post grad basketball, and he showed why with a big performance in their win over Spire. The 6’8” wing showed why he’s so hard to matchup with at his size as he shot the ball well from deep, showed his ability to handle and get downhill and out in transition and he played all over the floor and produced across the board. He finished with 32 points on 5-for-11 shooting from deep and 11-for-12 from the free throw line and had 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Izaiah Pasha Izaiah Pasha 6'4" | SG St. Thomas More | 2024 State NLG | 6’4” WG | St. Thomas More 2024
The 6’4” wing is considered one of the top available prospects in New England if not all of post grad basketball, and he was impressive for them in their win over Spire where he showed his ability to do a little bit of everything. He scored the ball efficiently and picked his spots working both on and off the ball, he made defenses pay when they left him alone and he did a lot of little things that contributed to them winning as a rebounder and a defender. He finished with 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from deep while pitching in 9 rebounds and 3 assists as well.
Mantas Zilys Mantas Zilys 6'4" | SG Vermont Academy | 2024 State NLG | 6’4” WG | Vermont Academy 2024
Vermont Academy has a chance to secure a 1 seed in the national coaches poll and a chance to be a top seed in the National Tournament, and the emergence of Zilys as a big time scoring threat is a big reason why. The Illinois native started one game and came off the bench one game but provided a lot of offense showing his ability to knock down shots from deep, get in the lane off the bounce and good feel as a playmaker when he needed to. He finished with 22 points on 9-for-15 from the field and 4-for-7 from deep with 5 rebounds in their win over Fork Union and had 13 points off the bench in their first win over Putnam Science.
Joson Sanon Joson Sanon 6'5" | SF Vermont Academy | 2024 State #11 Nation NLG | 6’6” WG | Vermont Academy 2025
If there’s any question as to who the best player in post grad basketball is, Sanon may have answered that as the consensus top 10 prospect in the 2025 class was downright dominant in a couple of impressive showings for VA. The 6’6” wing was unstoppable as he showed his ability to score the ball from all three levels and even in deep waters with ease, he was aggressive looking for his shots and even when double teamed found ways to make plays and he also rebounded and defended well despite being one of the top scorers in the event. He was electric and dominant with performances of 32 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals in their win over Putnam Science and 29 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists in their win over FUMA.
