Jayden McCoo Jayden McCoo 6'1" | PG Mascoutah | 2025 State IL (Mascoutah – 2025)
Long and lanky 6’1” point guard that plays taller than his height. The lead guard is a blur with the ball in his hands going coast to coast on several occasions as well as just blowing past his defender for scores in the paint in the half court. Loves to get to the rim! Did hit one three from the top of the key along with dishing out several dimes showing good feel in the half court. Finished with 15 points.
Corey Harris Jr Corey Harris Jr 5'11" | PG Mascoutah | 2025 IL (Mascoutah – 2025)
Harris is a 5’11” floor general that can really shoot it. Hit a pair of threes in their win against Carbondale. Pushes in the open floor, scrappy defender, and solid passer. He had 9 points.
Drew Winslow Drew Winslow 6'5" | SF Triad | 2025 State IL (Triad – 2025)
Winslow will play baseball at the next level as the junior is already committed to Oklahoma State. He is a go to wing for Triad. Transition finishes as he plays well in the open floor. Gets in the lane off the bounce for runners, and-1s, and can also post up weaker defenders. Went for 15 points and MVP honors.
Ethan Stewart (Triad – 2025)
Stewart is a point guard that plays with flair. He showed some passing feel in the half court and shot it well from distance draining three of them on his way to 10 points.
Dustyn Collins Dustyn Collins 6'5" | PF Centralia | 2025 State IL (Centralia – 2025)
Collins is a big man that’s stock is on the rise. Strong and physical 6’6” power forward that plays with a high-motor. He gets on the offensive glass for put backs, seals off his man for scores on the block, and finishes well out of the dunker spot with his strong hands. Explosive athlete converts through contact at the rim and has a good mid-range jumper. The strength and athleticism really pop! Went for 15 points.
Treyvon Taylor Treyvon Taylor 6'4" | PF Moline | 2025 State IL (Moline – 2025)
Early on in their game Taylor had it working with a top of the key three and got on the offensive glass for a pair of put backs. What was impressive about those is how explosive and quick his second jump off the floor was. Big bodied post that has slimmed down some. Played bully ball on a post move for a right handed hook shot. Missed a few bunnies throughout, but he hit a huge shot from three to send it to OT. Went for 16 points while rebounding well in his area.
Riley Massey (Desmet, MO – 2025)
Massey is a prospect that is worth monitoring in the 2025 class out of St. Louis. He led his team to a win against Moline earning MVP honors. At 6’4” he has good size and athleticism. Can rise up over his opponent for a two or three with his jump shot. Shifty ball handler that can win off the dribble for spinning layups, scoop shots, and tough conversions at the rim. Liked the toughness he showed getting on the floor for loose balls and creating turnovers. Kid is a winning player! He had 24 points.
Dillon Duff (Desmet, MO – 2025)
Duff is one of the best QB’s in the state of Missouri so he will likely go that route at the next level, but he is a good hooper as well. Lot of hustle plays on both ends of the floor for this forward. Got on the offensive glass and is a solid shooter hitting a pair for 9 points.
AJ Keith AJ Keith 6'4" | SG Pinckneyville | 2025 State IL (Pinckneyville – 2025)
Keith was stellar in the first quarter of their win against Waterloo. He notched 16 of his 18 points during the opening stanza. He is an athletic wing that can score from all three levels. Attacks the basket with burst, good mid-range game, and banged in a pair of threes. When in attack mode he showed he can put up numbers in a hurry!
Alex Stell Alex Stell 6'9" | C Waterloo | 2025 State IL (Waterloo – 2025)
Despite his teams loss Stell still showed a lot of quality traits in this one. The 6’10” five man proved to us this week how good of a passer he is. They weren’t always converted, but he made great reads with the ball in his hands to cutters and shooters. As a scorer in this one he was a bit limited, but did showcase a spin move for a short jumper, transition dunk, and a hook shot. Dominated the boards on the defensive end high-pointing them in traffic pretty consistently. Also swatted and altered numerous shots throughout the game including a couple emphatic blocks. Line read 7 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
