This weekend, the world famous Drew League played host to the second annual No Excuse Just Produce Classic. The event featured a slate of four boys games with some of the top talent from the Southern California area.
1. Donald Thompson - King/Drew 2025

Thompson is a wing who can play point guard at times. He is trusted as the primary ball-handler and he can pass the ball as well. Able to attack off the dribble consistently and get downhill. Good change of pace with the ball in his hands. Able to get to the basket and finish through the defense. Good drive and kick game. Three-point shooter.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='1980002' first='Samuel' last='Mbingazo'] - Alemany 2026

Mbingazo was one of the top centers at the event. He's an interior defender and rim protector. Good mobility defensively. Offensively he has good footwork in the paint and a nice touch at the basket. He's strong and was consistently able to finish through traffic.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='1502825' first='Aaron' last='Banks'] - Firebaugh 2024

Banks was one of the best point guards at the event. Keeps his head up and his dribble under control. Pushes the pace and accelerates quickly with the ball in his hands. He's tough for opposing guards when he's attacking downhill. Consistent getting to the basket and able to shoot from three-point range.

4. Anthony Minnoy - Grant 2024

Minnoy is a quick, strong guard. He's decisive with the ball in his hands. Gets to the basket and draws fouls to get to the free throw line. He really stood out on the defensive end though. He was a good on-ball defender; did well sliding his feet and cutting off the dribble. Also able to force turnovers and get out in transition.
