Roman Hendrix Roman Hendrix 6'4" | SG Forest Park | 2024 State VA | Forest Park ’24
Hendrix is a rangy 6’3″ guard who is a good rebounder for his position. He collected a team-high 7 boards against an opponent in Fairfax Christian who controlled the glass collectively. Hendrix exhibits good defensive potential. He has a nose for the ball and reacts quickly to 50/50’s. I also noticed that Hendrix does a nice job relocating off the ball to get open on offense.
Fred Johnson Fred Johnson 6'0" | PG Fairfax Christian | 2024 State VA | Fairfax Christian ’24
Johnson is an important contributor to a deep and talented Cardinals’ backcourt unit. He is a threat from three who is shot-ready and sets his feet simultaneously with the catch.
Soren Kyne Soren Kyne 6'0" | CG Centreville | 2027 State VA | Centreville ’27
Kyne has played sparingly both times I’ve seen him but has shown signs that he could become a contributor down the road for the Wildcats. He is a skilled guard prospect with some breakdown ability off the bounce. Kyne can hit the outside shot from behind the arc and has a soft touch from the foul line as well. He is a playmaker on both sides of the ball who can block shots from his guard position and also rebounds well.
Merrick Rillstone Merrick Rillstone 6'5" | PF South Lakes | 2026 State VA | South Lakes ’26
Rillstone is a 6’5″ prospect from New Zealand who brings value as a finisher. His presence gives the Seahawks added depth and versatility.
Austin Trought Austin Trought 6'0" | PG Fairfax Christian | 2024 State VA | Fairfax Christian ’24
Trought is another unsigned senior who I’ve added to my radar after watching Fairfax Christian recently. Some of his best moments occurred in transition when he was able to get a full head of steam going to the basket. Trought is a crafty finisher with good body control when scoring in the paint.
