Continue ReadingGabe Bolden Gabe Bolden 6’2″ | CG North Cobb Christian | 2024 State GA remains one of the best guards on the board and his grades certainly aren’t holding him back either. This spring and summer with Wood Elite, Bolden proved that he could defend D1 guards and compete at the highest level. Now back with North Cobb Christian, Bolden is showing that he can carry the scoring load and lead a group of young guys. Bolden has a solid frame and a quick trigger that extends pretty far out, both traits that will help his game translate at the next level. Currently holds an offer from Oglethorpe.
Will Kuimjian Will Kuimjian 6’2″ | CG Mt. Bethel | 2024 State GA has been a known commodity around the state dating back to his Pope days but his recruitment has yet to pick up. Kuimjian is a solid, steady guard but where he separates himself from other prospects is in the classroom, an impressive 4.4 GPA. The high IQ carries over to the basketball court as well. Kuimjian can be effective off the ball as a shotmaker or on the ball as the primary playmaker as we saw earlier in his career. He also has good size for the next level at 6’3. Kuimjian should certainly be of interest to D3s and high-academics that are still on the hunt.
Josiah Lawson Josiah Lawson 6’7″ | SF Tucker | 2024 State GA is one the best available players in the state, regardless of GPA or position, and his 4.2 GPA should open a number of doors. Lawson is a hybrid forward that can score in a number of ways. His perimeter skillset allows him to handle the rock on the perimeter and knock down open shots. Yet, he’s not afraid to use his big 6’7 frame inside to score amongst the trees. Lawson has collected a number of D1 and D2 offers over the years, his most recent coming from Lehigh.
Andrew Lavigne Andrew Lavigne 6’2″ | SG South Paulding | 2024 State GA has been a very popular name amongst small schools in the southeast but his recuritment remains open at this point. Lavigne is one of the state’s best shotmakers, able to elevate over the defense and knock down tough jumpers in traffic. He’s also a strong finisher at the rim and has some bounce that might sneak up on you. Just a few weeks ago, we watched Lavigne go for 30 points at the Wood Elite Showdown and he’s put up strong numbers like that all year. Dean, Oglethorpe, and Emory-Oxford have already offered.
Josiah Marsh
Josiah Marsh
Josiah Marsh has flown under the radar for far too long and at this point, he’ll be a steal for whoever lands him. Marsh is a long and bouncy forward that lives above the rim. He also shoots it fairly well from the mid-range extending out to the three-point line. At 6’6, Marsh provides a ton of versatility on the defensive end and his ability to guard the perimeter leaves the door open for him to transition to a wing at the college level. Marsh currently holds offers from Edward Waters, Voorhees, and North Iowa Area CC.
