Webster Groves vs. Francis Howell (January 9th)
Two of the better schools in not only St. Louis but the entire state will face off tonight. This is a yearly matchup and has been unpredictable in the past. Recent history has been favorable for the home team which is Howell this season. Webster is playing their best basketball in the middle of the season winning the CVC tournament. Howell is coming off a Kaninsky Classic championship. This is a large school heavyweight battle.
John Burroughs vs. Ladue (January 9th)
The battle of Laude. Public vs. Private. Another heavyweight battle set to take place tonight. Ladue enters with a perfect 12-0 record and will be getting their toughest test yet. Burroughs has a young but dominant frontcourt that affects the entire game on the defensive end. Ladue is a team that can play many styles. Fast or methodical. For the Rams it might be advantageous to get out and run. Regardless, this is expected to be a great game that will have tons of people watching.
Hickman vs. Father Tolton (January 10th)
This one is Aaron Rowe Aaron Rowe 6'2" | PG Father Tolton | 2025 State #17 Nation MO ‘s debut and a big game in the Missouri basketball scene. Hickman is a top team in Class 6 and will make it difficult on Tolton trying to spoil Rowe’s first game back. Expect this to be a fast paced game where each team scores a lot. The guards on both sides can heat up the ball and get to the rim. Brock Camp Brock Camp 6'6" | PF HIckman | 2025 State MO will be an x-factor in this one. He’ll be going up against emerging senior Will Fretwell.
Chaminade vs. De Smet (January 12th)
An anticipated MCC matchup that’s always fun each season. Chaminade has an advantage on the interior and De Smet has a handful of guards who are playing their best basketball. The matchup of Riley Massey Riley Massey 6'3" | PG De Smet Jesuit | 2025 State MO and Jonny Jordan Jonny Jordan 6'2" | PG Chaminade College Prep | 2026 MO will be one to watch. Each run their respective teams and have been setting the table at a high level. This game is a toss-up where home court advantage could play a factor.
