Stellar Play
Su’a was in his bag last night and he got into a bit of foul trouble that put him out for a minute or so that really could’ve made the difference. Su’a was showing that diverse game of his off as he was using that quickness of the catch on rip and goes. He had two really impressive midrange jumpers that were flawless. His outside game was on and he was able to showcase his next level talent. Defensively he was playing with high energy and he was just stellar.
Highlights
One of my favortite players out on the floor. He was as physical a guard as you will see and I am not talking about his build but his style of play. He was initiating the contact and that was allowing him to get defenders off of him. He was able to get a few AND 1’s as well. He is a play maker and he is young and he is going to have a bright future ahead.
Highlights
Now at Lone Peak he was instrumental in this win. He did so many things that will not show up on the score sheet that helped his team win. He had a few key rebounds that extended possessions and he was also big with a few layups and free-throws. Having players that can come in off the bench and producde will make the world of difference moving forward for this team.
Player of the Game
Burgess set the tone early prompting Westlake to take an early timeout. He was doing it inside and outside and he was just showing that he is a high level D1 4 man at the next level. Burgess also made an impact on the defensive end blocking shots. If he can stay out of foul trouble he really changes the game.
On the Rise
I really like Thom’s patience and how he is letting the game come to him. He knows when to attack the rim and he is solid in the post when he has little guards on him. His game continues to impress.
Defensively he was tough and he started to figure some things out on the fly. His physicality is something that allows him to defend bigger. He is uch and active defender that it is hard to score on him most times.

Overall
Westlake is a team that will battle you till the end and they will be a tough out in the tournament. If Anderson, Su’a and Adams are all clicking they will get over the hump.
Lone Peak at full-strength is tough but till then they have some players that are stepping up like Enoch Mitchell Enoch Mitchell 6'1" | CG Draper APA | 2025 State UT .
