Now, here are the five forwards who were slotted in the 2024 Class Rankings:

#59 - [player_tooltip player_id='2314773' first='Jeter' last='Purdy'], 6-foot-4 forward, 2024, Atchison:

Atchison has been on quite a winning spree the past couple of years. Purdy is a football standout who played a supporting role on the state tournament hoops team last year. The senior has exploded on the court this year, turning in several 20-point performances, including 32 in the latest recent win over Wyandotte. Atchison is now 6-0 and looking like a top team in 4A once again.

#60 - [player_tooltip player_id='2314781' first='Conner' last='Chadwell'], 6-foot-2 forward, 2024, Circle:

Another 4A football standout who is off and running as a senior hoops star, Chadwell received some all-state basketball mentions as a junior. He's a stellar shooter of the basketball. After going 19-4 a year ago, Circle is 6-0 and gunning for a state tournament berth.

#73 - [player_tooltip player_id='2314793' first='Howard' last='Peoples'], 6-foot-4 forward, 2024, Bishop Miege:

It's been a long time coming for this guy. Peoples was a name we knew ever since his freshman year, but he played on some teams that struggled before transferring to Miege for his senior season. He can make so many impressive plays, including getting off shots off spin moves in the paint. He can outleap just about everyone, and he pushes the ball up the floor with confidence, using his strength to power to the goal. He blocks shots and rebounds effectively due to his leaping ability.

#93 - [player_tooltip player_id='1301597' first='Ethan' last='Koehn'], 6-foot-3 forward, 2024, Circle (pictured):

Koehn joins Chadwell in the rankings as a senior. He's a workhorse and versatile, team-first performer. He can shoot it, handle it, and mix it up in the paint. Circle's success the past two years points to the quality play of the jack-of-all-trades senior Koehn.

#100 - [player_tooltip player_id='2314813' first='Tamir' last='Anderson'], 6-foot-3 forward, 2024, Highland Park:

Anderson waited his turn to lead the Scots. He supported a brilliant senior class last year, providing a lot of quality play. Now as a senior, Anderson is showing that he is one of the most proficient shooters in the state. In his first three games, the long wing player has hit 51% from deep, racking up 25 points per game.
