No. 36 [player_tooltip player_id='1502822' first='Jacob' last='Bayla'] | Valley Christian

The 6-foot-5 combo guard jumped into the top 40 because of his ability to score from multiple levels of the floor. Bayla is a consistent three-point shooter off the catch and has a balanced mid-range jumper with good elevation. In our most recent viewing of Bayla, he spent some time on the ball and made some good reads as the primary playmaker.

No. 37 [player_tooltip player_id='1502883' first='Jonathan' last='Moxie'] | Santa Margarita

Moxie is a high level competitor who can really control the pace and flow of a game at the point guard spot. I like the senior's toughness on both ends of the floor and his willingness to be a game-manager and pass-first type of player who can get paint touches and kick to open shooters. Moxie is a capable shooter off the catch who can also get to the rim in transition and finish through contact.

No. 38 [player_tooltip player_id='1817896' first='Xavier' last='Clinton'] | Damien

Clinton is one of the biggest stock-risers of this update as he jumps into the top 40 from No. 62. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is one of the best off-catch shooters from three-point range in the state and is becoming a high level downhill finisher in transition. Clinton comes from a program that has a proven track record of developing college ready players and he's next in line.

No. 40 [player_tooltip player_id='1502812' first='Tony' last='Duckett'] | Carlsbad

Duckett has begun to carve out his own spotlight while playing alongside one of the more talented scorers in the Southland in 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1630639' first='Jake' last='Hall']. Duckett has a long, wiry frame, knocks down perimeter jumpers from three and mid-range with consistency and has all the tools to be a high level perimeter defender at the next level.

No. 41 [player_tooltip player_id='1502815' first='Aliaun' last='Iscandari'] | Campbell Hall

The athletic lefty bumps up a few spots because a handful of strong performances against good teams in the fall and during the high school season. Iscandari is a catch-and-shoot threat from three-point range who is also a crafty slasher and finisher when he gets into the lane in transition or half-court offense.

No. 43 [player_tooltip player_id='1817914' first='Brian' last='Amunueke'] | Rancho Christian

The 6-foot-4 slasher is one of the better transition athletes and finishers in SoCal. Amunueke gets out and runs the floor on the break and provides guards with a guy who they can throw hit-ahead passes that result in easy layups. Amunueke is also a shifty driver and finisher in the half-court setting where he can get downhill and euro-step or spin and extend for baskets at the rim.

No. 44 [player_tooltip player_id='1817908' first='Carrington' last='Pierce'] | Etiwanda

Pierce does a really nice job of just being solid for the Eagles. He's a smart, poised and steady decision-maker with the ball in his hands who knows when to push tempo and when to pull the ball out and run offense. Defensively, the 6-foot senior understands team defensive concepts and can guard the ball in one-on-one situations.

No. 45 Majuok Chol | Sierra Canyon

Chuol has come into his own as a solid role player for a very good team. The 6-foot-10 center is a high motor defender who protects the rim, rebounds the defensive glass and gets fast breaks started with outlet passes followed by rim-runs. Chuol is still raw on the offensive end and is best used as a screener to free up space for teammates and a guy who gets on the offensive boards for second chance opportunities.

No. 46 [player_tooltip player_id='2102486' first='Rippen' last='Gill'] | Bakersfield Centennial

Gill is a versatile offensive player who, at 6-feet-6, can really stretch the floor with his ability to knock down off-catch perimeter jumpers. His skill-set allows him to play in roles as a spot-up shooter on drives and kicks from teammates or as a pick and pop threat. Gill is also a smart and unselfish passer who can find cutters for open layups.

No. 48 [player_tooltip player_id='1502820' first='David' last='Mack'] | St. Pius X-St.Matthias

Mack has been a nice addition at the point guard spot for the Warriors after transferring from Fairfax. The 5-foot-8 guard is one of the better point of attack, ball-pressure and on-ball defenders that we have in the region due to his quick hands and lateral speed. Mack has also been picking his spots well offensively while knocking down mid-range and three-point jumpers with consistency.

No. 50 [player_tooltip player_id='1502869' first='Quincy' last='Phillips'] | St. Anthony

Phillips has had some impressive scoring games in the early part of his senior season. The 6-foot point guard has always been a good driver and finisher and jump shooter off the bounce but his improved consistency as a three-point shooter is what made us elevate him into the top 50.
