Hank Alvey Hank Alvey 6'9" | C Illini Bluffs | 2024 State IL (Illini Bluffs)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Raking: #30
To be totally honest when Alvey committed to Lehigh we had never seen him play. He runs with a program that only plays on one circuit and we had not heard any buzz about him until a day before his commitment. We dived into the tape and here is what we saw. Alvey has tremendous size and strength. Anchors with deep post position, gets on the offensive glass, high points boards on both ends, and has a decent passing feel for a five man.
Luke Hopp Luke Hopp 6'8" | C Metamora | 2024 State IL (Metamora)
Previous Ranking: #77
Current Raking: #45
Hopp has emerged in our eyes as a no doubt D2 prospect. The Metamora big man might not get the shine next to Koch, but he can play. Efficient with everything he does. Rebounds well in his area, touch around the hoop, and can extend to the three point line for shots off the catch.
Jalen Crues Jalen Crues 6'6" | PF Glenbard North | 2024 State IL (Glenbard North)
Previous Ranking: #75
Current Raking: #54
Crues is a combo forward that will probably be most effective at the next level as an undersized four. Love the strength and motor that he brings to the table. Rebounds in and out of his area. Big time second jump. Transition athlete. Can defend multiple spots. Potential as a shooter.
Zachary Chambers Zachary Chambers 6'9" | C Collinsville | 2024 State IL (Collinsville)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Raking: #59
Chambers blew us away with his development as a senior since we saw him a year ago. He was the most dominant player at the Collinsville Holiday Tournament. The strong and wide bodied five moves great for his size being an anchor on the defensive end. Offensively he throws down slams out of the dunker spot while also garnering deep post position on the catch and has a great feel for sealing his man off. Plus rebounder especially in his area.
Alex Daniels Alex Daniels 6'5" | SF Warren | 2024 State IL (Warren)
Previous Ranking: #96
Current Raking: #77
Daniels has been a huge part of the success that Warren has had this season. The inside/outside game with Daniels is his biggest strength as he can be effective scoring around the basket, but also really stretch it with his shooting from the perimeter.
Grantas Sakenis Grantas Sakenis 6'10" | C Andrew | 2024 State IL (Andrew)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Raking: #78
Sakenis shined in our eval of him at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. He is HUGE! Like left tackle plus huge. We were impressed with how well he finished around the basket getting deep post position on the catch and finishing with ease. Very good rebounder. Old school five will need to find the right system, but once he does should be very successful at the next level.
Elijah Allen Elijah Allen 6'7" | PF Bloom | 2024 State IL (Bloom)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Raking: #79
Allen moved to Bloom from outside the country for his senior year. He popped off the floor to us when we saw him early in the season with what he brought on the defensive end. High level shot blocker that flies all over the floor defending in space. Offense is a bit raw, but does flash as a finisher.
Liam Taylor Liam Taylor 6'7" | PF Lyons Township | 2024 State IL (Lyons)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Raking: #91
Taylor popped in our eval over the holidays. The Denison commit brings plus athleticism as a face up four that will be an impact player at that level for sure!
