Michaelangelo Oberti Michaelangelo Oberti 6'10" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’10 C Morris Catholic
Oberti has been the driving force for the Gaels this season as they are 10-0 to start 2023-24. The Penn commit has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish through contact. Oberti has a good release on his free throws and can also pass out of the post. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and blocks almost everything around the rim. Oberti is a talented forward prospect who should continue to rack up double-doubles as the season progresses.
Nico Peña Nico Peña 6'1" | CG St. Peter's Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’1 CG St. Peter’s Prep
Peña has been the Marauders’ top scorer this season as he has helped them to an 8-0 start so far this season. The 6’1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Peña is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the rim. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is able to get deflections on the defensive end. Peña has three 20-point games this season and should have more for St. Peter’s Prep as the season moves along.
Victor Torres Victor Torres 6'7" | PF St. Mary's Rutherford | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF St. Mary’s Rutherford
Torres has been a force down low for the Gaels as he’s a big reason for their 9-0 start to the season. The 6’7 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and can finish through contact. Torres sets strong screens in the halfcourt and rolls hard to the basket. He is a force on the glass and influences a ton of shots around the basket. Torres is a physical forward prospect who will continue to be a problem down low for opposing defenses.
Nate Rohlfing Nate Rohlfing 6'7" | PF Haddonfield | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF Haddonfield
Classmate Sam Narducci Sam Narducci 6'0" | PG Haddonfield | 2024 State NJ leads the 10-0 Bulldogs, but Rohlfing has established himself as the main guy in the paint. The 6’7 forward has a nice touch around the basket and is able to finish through contact down low. Rohlfing has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and has a high release on his jumper. He is a strong rebounder and swats shots around the basket. Rohlfing’s ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor will help his stock and Haddonfield throughout 2024.
Michael Bernius Michael Bernius 6'5" | PF Ramsey | 2024 State NJ , 6’5 PF Ramsey
The Rams are currently 9-0 and Bernius’ play down low is a big reason why. The 6’5 forward has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. Bernius has a good touch in the paint and can also step outside the arc to knock down jumpers. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Bernius is a strong forward prospect who should continue to make plays around the basket as the season continues.
