Fresh off his commitment to Charleston Southern University, Ellis Graham Ellis Graham 6’9″ | PF Gray Collegiate | 2024 State #305 Nation SC had an impressive performance at the 2024 Prep Hoops SC Showcase. He is one of the premier rim protectors in the state and showed it with a 3-block night against Pebblebrook (GA). Ellis also had some good moments on the offensive end, finishing strongly around the rim and from within 15 feet with one-handed push shots.
Justin is another War Eagle who stood out on Saturday, but he also had been impressing at previous Gray Collegiate games at The Bash and the Chick-fil-A Classic. Pauling is a true “little things” guy from this team. He is a very good rebounder – regardless of size and position – who reads the game well and puts his body on the line. His performance at the Prep Hoops SC Showcase, however, was his most impressive offense showing of the three. He had 13 points to go with 6 rebounds off the bench in their win over Pebblebrook (GA).
The Eagles needed just about every Justin Ray Justin Ray 6’3″ | SG Eastside | 2024 State #317 Nation SC bucket to fend off the AAA 5th-ranked Daniel Lions. Despite a slow start in the first half, Justin erupted in the second half to the tune of 24 points on just four missed shots. He was most potent in ball-screen actions, working the defense to get the looks he wanted. He also had a couple of highlight plays in transition following his 2 steals.

DJ Kelley
DJ hit some massive shots down the stretch for Eastside at the 2024 Prep Hoops SC Showcase. He showed a very nice jump shot stroke and hit several from behind the arc. Kelley also made some plays off the drive but it was the perimeter shooting improvement that was key for the Eagles. He finished with 15 points and added 4 rebounds in their 66-60 win.
Musa, who recently announced his commitment to Spartanburg Methodist College, had another solid performance for the Greer Middle College Blazers against AAAA Laurens on Saturday at the Prep Hoops SC Showcase. After a slow shooting start in the first quarter, he seemed to find his rhythm at the start of the second quarter. He is a very good perimeter shooter and overall scorer, but his passing was also fun to watch. He put in a very impressive 18-point 10-assist double-double in Saturday’s opener.
Highlights
Jack had one of the most impressive performances for a big man at the 2024 Prep Hoops SC Showcase. His size and persistence in the paint were a nightmare for Laurens on Saturday Afternoon. He consistently scored of offensive rebounds and with his back to the basket, and even navigated some 3rd quarter foul trouble on his way to a 19-point, 14-rebound, 3-block performance in the Blazers’ win.
Isaac erupted with a 20-point performance for the Clover Blue Eagles in their win over Mauldin at the Prep Hoops SC Showcase on Saturday. He constantly put pressure on the Maverick defense with strong drives, either finishing at the rim or earning a trip to the free-throw line. Also, his athleticism showed in transition with a couple of highlight dunks. Allen is a solid defender, too, with good strength and active hands.
The play of Tylan Fowler Tylan Fowler 5’8″ | PG Laurens | 2024 State SC was a bright spot in the Raiders’ loss to GMC. He has the feel for the game with a good handle and vision to read defenses and make plays for his teammates. He also had a nice finish through contact in transition and a good-looking pull-up jumper.
