Now, let’s take a look back at some of the top individual performances that stood out from around the state on Tuesday.
Ranked #151 in the On3 Industry Ranking, 6’8″ junior forward Dezmon Briscoe Dezmon Briscoe 6’9″ | PF Crispus Attucks | 2025 State #107 Nation IN went off for 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks on Tuesday evening in a 62-49 win over Lawrence Central. The Tigers are now 5-2 on the season. Briscoe is averaging 15.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks per game.
Scoring 26 points in a win over a rival that is also ranked in the Top 5 of Class 3A is a surefire way to grab the attention of those from around the state. That is what Howell, one of the top scorers in the state of Indiana, did last night while leading Bosse to an upset win over Memorial 62-60. It was the Bulldogs first win of the season.
Kegerreis absolutely caught fire towards the end of the third period and into the fourth. At point he made six out of seven consecutive shots including three three-pointers to help propel Roncalli to a 52-32 win over Perry Meridian. The senior guard, playing in front of coaches from UIndy and Wabash, finished with 22 points to lead all scorers.

Performances like this are what take you from under-the-radar to on-the-radar. Rich, a 6’0″ senior point guard at East Chicago Central High School, scored a game-high 27 points on Tuesday night as the Cardinals surprised Chesterton 83-70. Small college coaches should consider taking a look at this dynamic playmaker.
One of the top uncommitted senior guards in the state, Schmitz scored a game-high 25 points in the Trojans dominant 79-54 win over Martinsville. Center Grove is now 4-3 on the season having played a very, very competitive schedule. They will now host Whiteland on Friday evening.

At long last Class 2A #8 Adams Central got their season started on Tuesday night and the Flying Jets picked up a 78-54 win over Fort Wayne Canterbury. 6’7″ Olivet Nazarene bound Isaac Schultz Isaac Schultz 6’7″ | C Adams Central | 2024 State IN led the way with 27 points including 15 out of the gate in the first quarter. He is poised for a big senior season.
Smiley continued his huge junior campaign on Tuesday night pouring in 35 points in a 68-54 overtime win against Gary 21st Century. The Valparaiso guard added 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the game. On the season, Smiley is averaging an impressive 28.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game.
