Tavarres Riley Tavarres Riley 6'1" | PG Freedom-Woodbridge | 2024 State VA | 6’1” PG | Westfield
Riley has been one of the top scorers in the entire state over the last few years, and the way he scores the ball will translate seamlessly to the next level. He’s a true three level scorer who gets to his spots off the bounce and doesn’t need much room to get his shot off, he gets to the line often when attacking the rim and he gets hot quickly and can fill it up in bunches.
Kye Robinson Kye Robinson 6'1" | PG Alexandria City | 2024 State VA | 6’1” PG | Alexandria City
Robinson is part of perhaps the best backcourt in the NOVA public schools, and he’s been a big part of the turn around at AC as he has been perhaps the best floor general in the area since his sophomore season. Robinson can put up big numbers as a scorer as he shoots it well from deep and is a strong finisher around the rim, and he couples that with winning intangibles as a playmaker and a defender too.
Isaiah Vick Isaiah Vick 6'7" | PF Patriot | 2024 State VA | 6’7” PF | Patriot
Vick has been super intriguing since the first time we saw him his sophomore season, and he’s continually improved over the years and is starting to turn that intrigue into production this season. At 6’7” he’s very versatile as he can play and guard multiple positions for his team, he’s an athletic finisher and rim protector in the paint and he can step out and knock down shots or put it on the deck on the perimeter too.
Jamari Hodnett Jamari Hodnett 6'2" | PG Bishop Ireton | 2024 State VA | 6’2” PG | Bishop Ireton
Hodnett is the type of player that coaches love to have on their team and hate to play against, as he is the type of player who doesn’t need to score the ball to be super effective and impact the game in winning ways. He’s a lock down defender who guards the ball the length of the court and has great instincts jumping passing lanes, he makes great decisions and makes the easy and correct play regularly and he can pick his spots and is efficient when he needs to score.
Quin Gorman Quin Gorman 6'8" | PF Flint Hill | 2024 State VA | 6’8” PF | Flint Hill
Gorman dealt with some injuries early in his career but he’s back healthy and putting up big numbers for a very good Flint Hill team so far this season. The 6’8” forward is a versatile offensive threat as he is a knock down shooter from deep off the catch, he can handle the ball in transition to make plays for himself and others and he is a good finisher with both hands around the rim too.
Jayden Johnson Jayden Johnson 6'1" | CG Tuscarora | 2024 State VA | 6’1” PG | Tuscarora
Johnson is another guard that can impact the game in a lot of different ways, and he’s quietly been one of the top guards in NOVA public schools over the past few years. He’s a strong and athletic guard who can get to the paint and get downhill where he’s a good finisher, he makes tough shots from all over the court and he is a lock down defender who brings toughness and plays with a high motor too.
