[player_tooltip player_id='2092241' first='Dada' last='Samuel'] (North Kansas City): Samuel is very good at playing the traditional big role and has North Kansas City looking like one of the better teams in Class 6. He's a high motor rim runner who lets his size and bounce shine cleaning the glass and blocking shots. At 6'8 he's an anchor in the paint and doesn't play outside of his skill-set. His contributions on the defensive end are consistent.

[player_tooltip player_id='1881966' first='Tayshawn' last='Wells'] (Springfield Central): Central has become one of the best teams in the state overnight and Wells is a major reason why. His on-ball toughness as a defender and true PG traits keep the team together and allow fellow junior [player_tooltip player_id='1422818' first='Keion' last='Epps'] to focus on his strengths. Wells is a selfless player that plays with an edge. He's physically tough and has a strong skill-set. He plays his role perfectly.

Jordiyn Richard (Vashon): Richard is playing much more than in the past for Vashon. The 6'5 swingman plays extremely hard and uses his athletic ability to make an impact. He's their glue guy on the defensive end. The senior adds weak side shot blocking, dunks in transition, and will get on the floor to go after a loose ball. Richard has the role of energizer bunny and he's doing a tremendous job early on. He has turned the corner as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1872266' first='Devin' last='Houston'] (CBC): Houston has emerged as one of the best players at CBC this season and is doing a great job of controlling what he can control. The sophomore is playing to his strengths. A PG with the frame of a linebacker, he's a strong player in all facets of the game. It's unique to see a player at the front of your defense set the physical tone. Houston is a natural ball-handler and gets in the paint with ease. He's an extremely strong floor general who takes care of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1431929' first='Langston' last='Stroupe'] (Hickman): Hickman has a well rounded team and Stroupe knows the winning formula. He has started (and won) a lot of games for them over the past few seasons. He controls the game, pace, and makes smart decisions. Capable of impacting without scoring many points, the sign of a great true PG. Stroupe has added an instant spark to their lineup since his injury.
