I like Buchanan’s game. He is a player you want on your team. He is the ultimate role guy. He is ultra long and athletic and he knows how to use it extremely well. He can guard all five positions on the court at an elite level. He has next-level bounce as well. He had a two-handed fast-break dunk that his head was at the rim and it looked effortless. He is smooth and someone I would want on my team any day.
Highlights
Boddie has a great pace to his game. He seems to never truly get sped up but knows when to change speed. As the point guard for Gahanna Lincoln, he has good control of their offense. He faced a lot of pressure from Columbus South but it never phased him. He never forced anything but instead attacked it. He made plays for his teammates. He plays the game the right way with a high IQ.

Jones turned my head because of his instant impact not only on Taft but on the game. Newark seemed to have taken full control of the game but Jones’ came in and provided an instant spark for the Senators on both ends. He made his first impact on the defensive end with his on-ball pressure. It was outstanding. This caused multiple turnovers and gave Taft a shot to get back into the game.
Walker has some unteachables to his game. He has a phenomenal foundation. He is listed at 6’5 but is very long. He isn’t just long and skinny, he plays strong as well. His athletics gives him the ability to be an outstanding defender. The best part about his game is his three-point shooting. He has a high arching shot that is smooth. He has great three and D potential.
Lucas played with some incredible energy and passion on Saturday. He was making big-time threes for Walnut Ridge and was doing everything he could to win the game for them. He was making a ton of hustle plays as well. He has some good size for a 6’2 guard and was consistently making impact plays from all over the floor. He also showed really good leadership ability. I love what I saw from Lucas.
