The senior scoring guard put on a show Monday night to get Frostproof on the positive side at 3-2 to start the season. We keep telling you, no matter the size of the dog, but it’s the heart and fight that separates these young men. He’s a bucket getter, as he dropped his second 40.0 point game of the season with 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists to add in a 74-54 win vs Lake Placid.
The 6-4 senior combo guard continues to show why he deserves college recognition. Torres was pivotal in a high scoring matchup against Victory Christian which saw the Wolverines fall 92-88 in an overtime loss at the Orlando Health Hoopfest. Torres did all he could with 27.0 points from the field.
Highlights
Lanier has shown his ability to be a two-way player at the next level that can score when needed and provide solid defense on your top player. He’s a longer-limbed combo guard with a decent jump shot combined with the length and athleticism to score near the rim or in transition. Ramadan has been on the Prep Hoops radar for some years now and the senior continues to put on productive performances. He helped OCP jump out to a 6-0 undefeated start as he scored 22.0 points, with 13 coming in overtime, in a big-time 63-59 win over out-of-state Faith Family Academy (Texas) in the Battle in the Bluff High School Showcase featured in Memphis.

Mr. dual-sport athlete is back on the hardwood for the Yellow Jackets as he came up big in a win over George Jenkins with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. This kid has a future in both basketball and football because of his developed frame and advanced athleticism. Look out for his name to pop as he charges up his confidence and finds his game on the court.
