Continue ReadingProspects like Moustapha Diop Moustapha Diop 6’10” | C Walker | 2026 State GA don’t come around every day. Diop is extremely long and athletic at 6’10, able to cover a ton of ground on the court. He’s one of the state’s best rim protectors regardless of class. Offensively, Diop isn’t afraid to rise up and hit the 15-footer and he’s going to dunk everything around the rim. I’d say he has the highest ceiling of any Georgia prospects right now.
Javonte Floyd Javonte Floyd 6’9″ | C Douglass | 2026 State GA really caught my eye a few weeks back at the Hard in the Paint, showcasing his wide array of talents over two games. Floyd has a great body at 6’8, plays above the rim, and shoots the 15-footer consistently. He’s been one of the biggest sleepers in this class up until now but his stock is on the rise with a great start to the high school season.
Kevin Curtis Kevin Curtis 6’10” | C Grovetown | 2026 State GA has stepped into a much bigger role this year at Grovetown and while he’s still a work in progress, there’s a lot to like about his game. He’s incredibly long at 6’10 and protects the rim well. Curtis doesn’t have the frame to clear out space yet but he finishes well over the shoulder and has some soft touch from 10 feet in. Currently holds offers from Georgia State, North Carolina A&T, and Kennesaw State.
Hezekiah Kent Hezekiah Kent 6’8″ | C Brunswick | 2026 State GA is one of the best athletes in South Georgia, a star in both football and basketball. His toughness and physicality certainly carry over to the hardwood as Kent can be a serious force on the interior. He’s a nightly double-double threat, scoring a lot of his points off second chance opportunities and lobs to the rim. Be on the lookout for Brunswick this year as they could be dangerous in the postseason.
Brent Williams Brent Williams 6’7″ | C Loganville | 2026 State GA garnered some good buzz last year, seeing significant minutes as a freshman at Loganville. The 6’7 lefty scores it well out of the low post and crashes the offensive glass hard. He’s not extremely long or athletic but he’s a patient shot-blocker and protects the paint. Redline seems to be a great fit for Williams as HC Jay Gibbons has a knack for developing talent.
