Ragland has grown to 6’11 and uses his huge frame to clear out space inside. He can score in the post by way of the soft touch and clean footwork or step out and knock down the three, maybe the prettiest shot of any big men in the state. Currently holds offers from Kennesaw State, East Carolina, Georgia State, and Morehouse.
Jackson McVey comes in at #12 in our latest update and has put up some eye-popping numbers through the start of the year. McVey is good for a double-double every night of the year and even posted a statline of 37 points and 30 rebounds in a game back in November. McVey is your new school stretch-5 that knock down shots from the perimeter and protect the rim on the other end. He holds offers from Kennesaw State and Western Carolina.
Highlights
Elyiss Williams Elyiss Williams 6’9″ | C Camden County | 2025 State GA has already made his commitment to play football at Georgia but he’s not quite done hooping and as long as he’s on the court, he’s one of the best bigs in this class. You can see a lot of the physicality and aggression transfer over in Williams’ game as he’s a beast on the boards and shines defensively. On the offensive end, he’s extremely coordinated with great hands for a guy of his size. Williams recently finished up football season and joined the Camden County basketball team who sits at 7-1.
Deshawn Davis Deshawn Davis 6’9″ | C Savannah | 2025 State GA caught some eyes in the spring while playing with a Wood Elite squad that rarely lost and he’s carried that momentum into the high school season with Savannah. Davis has good size at 6’9 and loves to play above the rim. He’s one of the better rim protectors you’ll find in the state as well. Earlier this season, he had a game with 16 rebounds and 13 blocks. Savannah could be a legitimate contender this year and Deshawn Davis Deshawn Davis 6’9″ | C Savannah | 2025 State GA is a big reason why.
Tamiel Green Tamiel Green 6’10” | C Wilson Academy | 2025 State GA has flown relatively under the radar in recent years but he’s beginning to garner attention now at Wilson Academy. Green is a massive presence in the paint, 6’10 and 270 pounds. However, he actually moves pretty well for his size. We’re also beginning to see other parts of his game take form such as the footwork and ability to pass out of the post. Green’s landing spot in the spring will be crucial for both his development and recruitment.
