Rowe showcased an improved handle, and outside shot. Rowe made a number of dribble pull-ups, and used his length to score in the painted area. Rowe also showed his breakaway abilities in the open court with a pretty emphatic dunk.
Hunter Lorenson Hunter Lorenson 6'0" | PG Lake City | 2024 State MN – The five-foot-eleven-inch guard from Lake City scored a game high 28 points versus Lewiston-Altura. Lorenson has a tough to stop left to right dribble pull-up, and it was on display this game. Lorenson hit a long range 3, which he showed later in the AAU season of 2023. Lorenson does a good job moving the ball up the floor and like many of the Lake City players, has very good offensive fundamentals.
Ari Gooch Ari Gooch 6'1" | SG Park Center | 2024 State MN – The six-foot-one-inch guard from Park Center took center stage at the Comets Showcase camp in September, and the athletic guard turned more heads during fall ball. In his debut versus St. Louis Park showcased those same abilities. Picking off passes and getting into the open floor and showing out.
Brandon Hrncir Brandon Hrncir 6'8" | PF Farmington | 2024 State MN – The six-foot-seven-inch forward from Farmington in an incredible first game match-up vs Rochester Century scored 27 points. Hrncir stretches the floor and is a good outside shooter as he made multiple 3’s while also with skills of bringing the ball up the court off the dribble.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6'7" | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN – The six-foot-six-inch wing from Rochester Century. Wysocki led Century with 25 points versus Farmington. The athletic lefty is very versatile on defense guarding all over the floor. Wysocki a lefty shooter, but adept at finishing with either hand has grown into a
Ricky Wengert Ricky Wengert 5'11" | PG Rochester Century | 2025 State MN – The five-foot-ten-inch in 2025 junior had a solid performance versus Farmington. Scoring twelve points the guard showed some crafty scoring ability with a stop head fake floater in the lane. Wegnert has a good looking shot motion, can make outside shots, and is very active around the rim.
Gavin Gross Gavin Gross 6'2" | SG Foley | 2024 State MN – Six-foot-two-inch guard from Foley scored 33 points versus Princeton. The 2024 senior shot 9/18 from the field, made 2 3’s, and shot 13/14 from the free throw line. He racked up four assists and four steals as well in a 85-63 win for Foley. Gross two made three’s, one was a very good spot-up look, the other a stepback. He scored at the rim by driving by and through defenders on numerous occasions.
Cash Pettit – Six-foot-two-inch guard from Princeton. The 2024 senior made three 3-pointers versus Foley on his way to 26 points to lead the Tigers. Petit’s made three’s were all of the spot-up variety, quick release and solid follow through from the Senior guard.
