The journey continues with our preview of teams on the First Coast of Jacksonville, we head to Eagle's View Academy on the Westside of town. Coach Williams is entering his 1st season with the Warriors. He is taking over a 12-12 team with expectations of going 19-6 this year. Coach Williams stated, "We had a great offseason". He welcomed the new challenge of changing the culture at Eagle's View. He has had success at every stop he has been from Cornerstone Christian to Seacoast Christian. I believe it's only fair to assume the winning ways will continue at EVA. Let's check the team out more in-depth.

Key Games: 11/28 @ Impact Christian

An early trip to Impact Christian in the season may be a measuring stick for the young group. The new additions to the team will give them an immediate impact on both ends of the court. It may serve as a possible playoff preview early on.

Top Returning Player: MJ Glover l 5-11 l Guard

Super athletic with great speed. He finishes in traffic pretty well. His athleticism will catch you off guard. He fits the mold of what Coach Williams does year in and year out - Productive, gritty guards that can score the ball in bunches. *Cover Athlete for Article*

Aiden Amos l 5-9 l Guard/Wing

Amos is an athletic swingman who is disciplined and has a great motor to go with it. He has a defensive mindset and rebounds well in his role. Amos is a glue guy on the team.

The X-Factor: Kenny Berry l 6-5 l F

Berry is pivotal to the teams' success. If the Warriors are going to be successful on the defensive end, it will hinge on their anchor in the middle. Berry has improved on the glass with rebounding; I've noticed he is shooting perimeter shots more lately. Teams will have to respect his 3-point shot this season.

Impactful Transfers: [player_tooltip player_id='1560239' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] l 5-10 l Guard

Solid transfer for the Warriors coming in from First Coast High. Volume shooter with great pace. He excels at shooting from the perimeter. Underrated playmaker who has a gritty defensive style. Williams should be on any team's scouting report.

Hidden Gem: Marcus Carter l 6-2 l Guard

Carter is a gym rat. Long and shifty who sits on defense. He sports a High IQ, consistent shot, and supreme athleticism. Keep an eye out for him.

Impactful Underclassmen: [player_tooltip player_id='1946206' first='Justis' last='Clements'] l 6-1 l Guard

Smooth as butter with the basketball at all times. Clements is a walking bucket already. Expectations are Clements and Williams will be a high-scoring, dynamic backcourt for the Warriors. Clements has a deep bag offensively. He can beat you inside with crafty finishes or outside on the perimeter. A name to remember this season.
