Cam is listed as a G|F, but he spends most of his time at the guard spot and being a creator off the bounce. He has good court vision and awareness and does a good job spraying the rock to shooters off his dribble penetration. He lives in the paint and is a high-end decision-maker in traffic. He rims and runs pushes the pace, and is a good, crafty finisher in transition. He has active, hands-on defense and impacts the game on both ends of the floor.
Alandis Thomas Alandis Thomas 5'10" | PG Ramsay | 2026 State AL (5’10/PG/’26/Ramsay HS)

Alandis is an emerging prospect that many in the state will soon come to know. Some good guards have come through the Ramsay program, and I believe that Alandis is next in line. It is evident that Alandis is an unselfish lead guard, but he has to be more assertive in the scoring column as several teammates are still on the football field. He’s a one-man press break and is nearly impossible to contain one-on-one. He is a downhill attacking guard who creates off-the-bounce for teammates, is a gifted scorer off-the-bounce, and is a very good finisher.
Reid Winton Reid Winton 6'7" | C Huntsville | 2026 State AL (6’7/PF|C/’26/Huntsville HS)

Reid has good positional size and will be very difficult to deal with by the time he steps on varsity if he stays in the lab. In the match-up I saw against Ramsay, no one could physically match up with Reid, so he basically had his way of scoring in the paint and at the rim. He was dominant on the glass as he rebounds at a high rate. Reid impacts winning by asserting himself in the paint and at the rim and showed a little toughness at moments. I look forward to seeing Reid compete against players who can match up physically, but what he currently brings to the court cannot be denied.

Marcellous can shoot the rock from deep and is efficient with his c&s opportunities. He has good positional size for a JV guard and is a relentless competitor who plays with grit. If he asserts himself more offensively, he could bring more value to his squad because he has the talent to provide more. I’m high on his three-point stroke and connective passing, as he is the perfect type of guard to pair with a big initiator who can create shots for him.
John Robert Towry (6’6/PF/’27/Vestavia Hills HS)

John has good positional size and brings a lot of energy and effort to the floor. He is a good finisher in the paint, as contact does not deter him. Even though he still has room to improve his handles, he can put the ball on the deck and attack the cup. He makes his presence felt in the paint, and his aggressiveness leads to fouls on opponents and trips to the line. If John can continue his development, he will be a valuable piece of the Vestavia program in the upcoming years. He still needs to work on his explosiveness off the floor as well as work on getting stronger.
Luke Evans (Chelsea HS)
Luke is a developing interior player who showed nice footwork on the low block. He has a soft touch around the rim and showed that he can score in the paint and around the rim. As a player who is still working on his tools and is not looked upon to provide a lot of scoring, he can play under the radar and work on aspects of his game while in live-game action. His development is one to keep an eye on.
