The Spring Arbor Shot Clock Classic is a quality event that featured a Parma Western win against Olivet. Maverick Hammond Maverick Hammond 6’2″ | CG Parma Western | 2025 State MI was they key to the game for Western. He scored a game high 17 points and looked like he is underrated as an overall athlete.

Holland is an improved team and they looked good over the holiday in a win against Western Michigan Christian. Powell was a key to the win. He got good looks at the rim and paced his team with 13 points. If Powell can keep this level of play, Holland will continue to see success,
Salenbien is an underrated prospect. He showed a lot of what he offers as a player and prospect in the Shot Clock Classic. Lenawee Christian came out on top in a much anticipated matchup with Concord. Salenbien went off in this game, torching the nets for 29 total points. Quite simply, Salenbien is a next level talent.
Highlights
College coaches should be putting a stop at Fenton High School on their to-do list. They quietly have one of the better backcourts in the state. Bond was terrific in a big win against Hartland over the holiday. The super fast guard filled all corners of the stat sheet in the win.
Hutson is playing some excellent basketball and that very apparent in a win against King. He finished the game with 28 points, but even more impressive was how he scored them. Maybe more accurately, how he scored them in seemingly every way possible. From acrobatic finishes at the rim to knock down triples, Hutson filled it up.
Farmington picked up a nice holiday season win against Avondale. Grays topped the 20 point mark and he did it in style. He showed off a tough mid range game where he could create space and nail a contested jumper. Grays also showed the ability to put the ball on the floor, move his defender, and score at the rim.
Smith is proving to be a player to watch with his holiday hooping. He scored 24 points in a Stoney Creek win against Sterling Heights. Smith scored with explosiveness and quickness. The versatile guard has a lot of upside.
