Rockhurst at Lee’s Summit West (December 19th)
A battle between two of the better large schools in all of Kansas City tonight. Both are in Class 6 District 6 and this game could have huge seeding implications down the road. Lee’s Summit West has been tested early and has a lot of talent on the floor. Rockhurst on the other hand plays a slower tempo and has a number of shooters on the floor. Each are on pace to win at or around 20 games this season. A great game for basketball junkies in the Kansas City area on a Tuesday night.
Eugene at Mexico (December 19th)
A battle of two teams who have a combined record of 16-1. Mexico will be sure to pack their gym tonight as undefeated Eugene looks to keep their perfect season rolling. Eugene has been building their program up for this season and it shows in their early success. They’re winning games by large margins. Mexico provides a challenge, however. Their athletic guards and up-tempo style will make for great contrast.
Rolla at Union (December 20th)
Two teams who are on the right tack early in the season. Both have great records so far with limited losses and solid wins. For Rolla it’s all about sophomore guard Ethan Brown Ethan Brown 6'4" | CG Rolla | 2026 State MO . He sets the table, makes tough shots, and has really come into his own this season. One of the best in 2026. Kieran Wors Kieran Wors 6'4" | PG Union | 2024 MO will be a player Union uses to stop Brown. The highly athletic wing can mix it up and plays with a very high motor. This should be a great game on Wednesday.
CBC at Vianney (December 22nd)
A classic MCC matchup at Vianney who will be sure to bring the energy in their home gym. CBC has won a lot of these battles in the past, but Vianney has a great team looking to flip the script these next few seasons. There are a number of headlines in this one. When these two teams meet, it’s often a track race with lots of scoring. There are a number of recruitable players on the floor in this one.
Webster Groves vs. Oak Park (December 22nd)
A neutral court game in Kansas City, this is a major contest with implications for rankings across the state. Webster Groves is highly regarded in Class 5 but not quite to the level Oak Park is. Each team has a ton of talent on the perimeter.
