I was at Mesa HS for the Fear the Hop tournament on Wednesday, The Valley Christian Tournament at Seton Catholic, Welcome to the Jungle at Gilbert HS on Friday and lastly I attended the The LV8 Invitational at Chandler-Gilbert CC on Saturday.

Here is another article about some of the top passers I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='1494967' first='Dylan' last='Novak'] ALA Gilbert North (Pictured)

A natural three level scorer is a very good passer. He is one of the best passers I viewed for the week. He is a deep shooter who can get downhill. His shot is quick off his hands. He has a nice runner game in traffic and can euro to the rim. Hit one three specifically with a top defender in his face and then on the next play he threw a perfect dime.

[player_tooltip player_id='1876010' first='Dayton' last='Foster'] ALA West Foothills

A dynamic point guard has the ball on a string for him. He has serious shift and pace to make defenders look bad. His deep shooting was a little off but made a couple. He found ways to get to his spots for runners, floaters and speed layups plus will score thru contact with his toughness. He also is a quick second jumper to rebound and score on put backs plus he is quick on the ball defensively with his speed. He makes passes with his left or right hand on a rope.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138511' first='Jameson' last='Vick'] Pinnacle

A pure point guard is a great passer with next level anticipation to throw his teammates open. He will throw up the court passes to dime his teammates and drive and kicks or will thread it into tighter spaces. The ball never sticks in his hands and gets it out quickly for the assist.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042714' first='Archie' last='Graves IV'] Central

A fast point guard who is controlled. He is nearly impossible to stay in front of him to get to the basket. He has a shifty handle and a burst to the rim. He has plus athleticism and quickness to defend. He had one impressive block above the rim. He has next level court vision and makes passes with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='1832786' first='Marcus' last='Murray'] Sunrise Mountain

The team leader is young but he guides the 5A team. He is a great passer in traffic and sees the court quickly. He makes every read with drive and kicks, up the court passes and handles heavy pressure. He rebounds well for his size and position and will dribble in tight spaces. He uses a burst of speed to get downhill to lay it in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1834658' first='David' last='Shaw'] Agua Fria

A long and lean point guard who is a very good passer. The lefty can take it coast to coast and has a polished runner he often uses. He has great length to play the passing lanes and closes out to shooters well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1127094' first='Anderson' last='Lim'] Corona del Sol

A combo guard who gets to the basket better with his stronger upper body and nice handle. He can throw a perfect pass up the court in stride to a teammate and will drive and kick it. He is very competitive on defense to collect steals and block shots. He has good speed and knows how to mix in a burst and slow it down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306051' first='Logan' last='Martinez'] Salpointe Catholic

A tough minded pure point guard can hit the catch three. He uses his stronger upper body to get into the lane and rebounds well in his area. He sees the court well and is their true leader to make it easy to play with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1216999' first='Jaylen' last='Wollangk'] Mesquite

A tough point guard who pushes the pace quickly. He finds players in the corners or up the court. He can get to the basket and uses the floater game. He plays the passing lanes well and is a leader on both sides of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336436' first='Kohen' last='Hill'] Highland Prep

The pure point guard of the small school runs the team and makes beautiful reads to his scorers. He has advanced court vision and is one of the more unselfish players you will see. He can pull-up from mid-range and hit the catch three with a quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id='2257790' first='Nicholas' last='Topolosek'] Liberty

One of the rare freshmen who already plays on varsity. He leads the second unit and is a very good passer and smart player. He will throw it up the court and spray the ball around. He can hit the catch three and plays from the neck up.
