Aaron McGee
Aaron McGee
The 6-2 sophomore point guard has looked more comfortable leading a team this season and is playing a more mature game beyond his years. McGee has shown he can score across all three levels where he is displaying a ton of confidence in his game. McGee is also very versatile when it comes to the defensive end of the floor where he is playing with active energy and jumps the passing lanes using his length. Excited to see McGee with his development as he could become a legit college prospect in the next 2-3 years.
Malakai Cuffy
Malakai Cuffy
The 5-11 sophomore guard has a quick first step when it comes to making the right reads. Cuffy is also very shifty when he has the basketball in his hands where he can finish at the rim with either hand. On the defensive end he can guard on and off the ball at a high level where he plays with a ton of activity as well as being an above-average rebounder for his size. He will be a name you’ll need to know before his sophomore season concludes.
Donovan Gaines
Donovan Gaines
The 6-3 sophomore guard does a great job utilizing his athleticism where he can finish above the rim or knock down jumpers with space. He is also flashy on the defensive end using his length where he can guard multiple positions as well as challenging shots at the rim. He is off to a solid start to his sophomore season as he is averaging 12.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game through the team’s first six games.
The 5-9 sophomore point guard is tough as nails when it comes to finishing on the attack. He also has a strong knack where he can knock down shots from behind the arc off the catch as well as off the bounce as he has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the state for his class. On the defensive end, Lane is a true floor general who can cover a lot of ground using his elite footwork as well as can guard multiple positions. He will be an intriguing prospect to watch as he has the intangibles to become a real deal prospect in a couple years.
Highlights
Stefan Frisby
Stefan Frisby
The 6-2 sophomore point guard is a true guard with great court vision and is great when it comes to getting his teammates involved. Frisby is at his best when he is on the attack finishing above the rim and is unafraid to finish with contact. He is a confident guard who also plays great on-the-ball defense where he defends all 94-feet of the floor using his speed and footwork to stay in front of the opposing guards.
The 6-2 sophomore guard has continued to prove why he has such huge upside. Joseph has one of the most elite playmaking skills from the point guard position I’ve seen in quite some time. Joseph is unafraid when it comes to scoring at the front of the rim through crowds. His jump shot is still continuing to develop but has drastically improved since the beginning of his freshman season. On the defensive side, he plays with a ton of activity where he applies great pressure around the rim and rebounds well for his size.
