He is at his best when the ball is in his hands and he has the freedom to create. He lives in the paint and makes good decisions with the rock when the defense collapses. Chris has nice handles, a good dribble-drive game, and can really shoot it well from behind the arc. He is extremely difficult to deal with when he is locked in and aggressively looking for his offense. He is a very good interior scorer who can get it done on the low block and who can also face up and attack off the bounce. He is a hard-nosed rebounder who boxes out and fights for boards. He is a multi-level scorer who is loaded with tools. He shoots the ball well from behind the arc, which forces defenders to play him close. While defenders are being aggressive, he uses his ability to get by defenders to get into the paint, where he is a crafty finisher. He is a young, intriguing prospect with a smooth developing offensive game. He is a very aggressive and disruptive defender who makes ball-handlers earn everything they get. His on-ball pressure forces turnovers as ball-handlers have to be very mindful when Caleb is near. Offensively, he provides scoring when the opportunities are there. He is active in ball screens as he sets strong fundamental screens, making it hard for opponents to fight through. He impacts the game without scoring and impacts winning by asserting himself in the paint and at the rim. He can take on the responsibility of being a primary ball-handler and initiate the offense while he can switch gears and look for his offense off the bounce.
