Wedlow is a top notch post prospect that has the potential to be a difference maker at the next level. Defensively, he could probably be an immediate contributor. Wedlow is extremely bouncy under the rim and has quick feet in the lane. That combination allows him to cover a lot of ground and space to challenge at the rim and block shots. Wedlow is a strong finisher with 2 hands.
Johnson sent a message loud and clear at the PH Michigan Top 250. There aren’t many better pure athletes in the state, let alone that are still available. You just cannot let him break free in transition. Johnson is a punishing finisher that can throw it down with 1 hand and completely change the momentum of a game. His ball handling skills are much improved and there is a ton of upside to his game.
If you said that Yeager was one of the best pure shooters you’ve ever seen in the state, I wouldn’t argue with you about it. He’s that good of a shooter. But let’s not forget that he’s a true lead guard that can handle and distribute. All of this, and he’s still available. There have to be a lot of schools that could use a sharpshooting point guard with an excellent all around game.

I truly believe that Weaver’s name should be mentioned more with the top point guards in the state. He can play on or off the ball and is very quick with a fast first step that can put opponents on their heels quickly. Weaver is, and always has been, a playmaker with the ball in his hands. I think a program at the next level could snag a steal with this young man.

Vanlaningham isn’t just a steal. Adding him to a program would be similar to Hans Gruber getting the job done against John McClane. The young man has always been able to shoot with the best of them. But he also developed the ability to attack the rim off the bounce and finish it with authority. Vanlaningham has developed his offensive game very nicely and I really think that he will be excellent at the next level.
