Who has a high ceiling?
Florida’s 2026 class is filled with guys who have NBA and high major potential so finding high cielings is never an issue. Alex Constanza is starting to seperate himself with his point foward skillset, defensive versatility, and increased scoring role. Caleb Gaskin is a top five recruit nationally with the physical measurements and defensive capabilities everyone looks for in a forward. As Gaskin continues to be mentored by the Montverde staff he’ll only get better over his career. Chris Washington is a long physical specimen whose added strength is helping him assert himself on both ends of the floor. Kayden Allen Kayden Allen 6'5" | SG Grayson | 2026 State FL shows the goods every time the sophomore combo guard touches the floor for Montverde. His combination is size, scoring, and feel make him look like an older player among his peers.
Which prospect from your area is ranked too low?
Adalbert Allotey of University Christian in Jacksonville may prove to be too low when he makes his debut in the second half of the season. During the Hoop Exchange Fall Festival he showcased a an athletic and active skillset to go along with a ridicolous frame. While he’s raw he attempts to block everything. He’s an explosive athlete who connected on mid range shots and flashed uncommon court vision for someone his size.
Who has the potential to outplay their ranking this year?
By the end of the season Thok Gol Thok Gol 6'8" | PF Victory Christian | 2026 State FL , Augustine Ayelyine Augustine Ayelyine 6'9" | PF University Christian | 2026 State FL , and Kareem Preston Kareem Preston 6'2" | PG Menendez | 2026 State FL could all be ranked. Gol is a rangy 6’8 forward whos developing a feel for the game but never lacks length, energy, and rebounding when he’s on the floor. Ayeline is a another 6’9 forward who has a high upside as a shot blocker who flashes perimter skills in the open court. Preston is a lead guard for a talented team who gets his team involved while being a double digit scoring threat. He also has active hands on the defensive end.
Anyone you think will play their way onto this list?
There’s plenty of guys on the watchlist who were fighting their way into the top 50. Jarvis Pope Jarvis Pope 6'0" | PG Brandon Academy | 2026 FL ‘s scoring and expanding playmaking skills will make a claim for an expanded spot. If Kenneth Morgan Kenneth Morgan 6'7" | PF Trinity Catholic | 2026 State FL continues to trend up with his physical development and post scoring the 6’7 will beat down the door. Emir Gainer Emir Gainer 5'8" | SG St. Petersburg | 2026 State FL ‘s scoring, playmaking, leadership, and quickness will be hard to deny as continues to lead St. Pete to wins.
