Moving north from Arkansas, Miller has immediately made an impact at Covington Catholic. He’s very athletic and plays around the rim with a lot of energy, rebounding and dunking everything he can. Caden was recently offered by EKU and has a couple other D1 offers in his bag already. Keep an eye on a potential difference maker in the 9th region.
Johnson moved into Taylor County from Georgia and has made an immediate impact for the Cardinals and their pursuit of a 5th region title. CJ offers Taylor something they were lacking as they were short on athletic guards who can get to the rim at will. He fills that role well and should keep getting better as the season rolls along.
Starks is still waiting for his eligibility to start for the Dragons but once he’s able to play, look for Elijah to make an immediate impact. Athletic and long, Elijah transferred from Bowling Green to WC last winter and should be the Dragons’ second best player behind Kade Unseld Kade Unseld 6’5″ | SF Warren Central | 2024 State #252 Nation KY once they both get on the court.
Hampton is a name that should have been in these rankings for years now but has been overlooked. A shooter for GRC, Reshaun is primed for a breakout season after waiting for his opportunity behind a loaded 2023 class. Midway College offered him last week and he should see more interest coming his way.
