Under the Radar SEC Players to Watch

The Super Essex Conference has players flying under the radar that should make an impact in 2023-24. The 6'4 wing has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and can finish through contact. Foster can thread passes to teammates in the halfcourt and can score in the mid-range. He is a strong rebounder and has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor. The 6'3 wing is at his best attacking the basket as he finishes strong around the rim and is not afraid of drawing contact. Graham rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and can also score in the mid-range. He pushes the pace well in transition and works hard on the defensive end. The 5'11 guard has a lightning quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and get to the rim. James has a nice touch on his floater and sets his feet before he shoots. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and can also play off the ball. Langevine fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences a ton of shots around the rim. He has a nice touch around the basket and sets good screens in the halfcourt. The 6'4 wing elevates for dunks in the halfcourt and does not mind drawing contact. Whitney uses his size to see over his defender and moves well without the ball in his hands. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer.
