I caught Thomas big game on Monday. He’s an active wing with long arms who gets to spots and finishes plays. David scored well from all three levels with most of his points coming from his drives to the bucket. Thomas’ wiry frame and handle allow him do things on the court most players can’t. He is JUCO’s dream prospect for how well he scores the ball. David led with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and also got the win.

Ogbomo is such a high-energy guy on the court he gives his team life with some of the explosive plays he makes on a nightly basis. Ehi defends with intensity and is very active at crashing the boards. On offense, he shoots the ball well from three but is much more efficient when making athletic plays at the basket. Finishing with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and the win Friday night. College needs to catch Ehi during the holiday tournament season.
Zack Sharkey (Marian Catholic) 2025 6’2
Sharkey had a great finish to the Chicago Heights Classic. The junior guard filled it up from three and hit several shots off the bounce. Zack is good because he knows the game and plays well on and off the ball. He has a quick release on his shot and is a consistent shooter. On Friday Sharkey had 27 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds in a win over Hillcrest. Zack is playing his best in big games and should be considered a scholarship athlete going forward.

Jones shot the ball well Tuesday afternoon as he swished 5 threes en route to his team’s victory over Collins. Cyrus made the full transition to lead guard and it paid off on the court. His balance between scoring and facilitating showed in his stat line with 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Jones is competing on both sides of the ball and I believe small colleges should be on his radar.

Hill is one of the players who jumped on my radar at our PHI Camps this fall. He didn’t disappoint the first week of games with a strong scoring performance on Saturday. Sebastian scored 31 points off 6 made threes and a few drives to the rim. Hill has a textbook-looking shot when he gets his feet set. He can shoot from as deep as the NBA line with consistency. What a great way to close out the first week of the season. I can see some D2 schools that may need a specialist on the roster reach out.
