Some weee complimentary players last year who are looking to step into bigger roles. After watching them play over the summer, they appear ready to have a break out year.
Evan Simon Evan Simon 6'1" | PG Kirkwood | 2025 State MO (Kirkwood): A 6’1 point guard who has a full offensive bag. He can score from all three levels and create off the bounce. He averaged six points a game on a senior laden team that was 22-2 last season. After a strong summer playing up with the Arsenal Hoops 17U, he is ready for a prime role with the Pioneers.

Jackson Shorter Jackson Shorter 6'6" | PF Kickapoo | 2025 State MO (Kickapoo): A 6’7 forward who is the one experienced returning player from Poo’s Class 6 runner up team. He’s a strong post player who can score inside. He averaged six points a game as a sophomore. He broke out last season with 18 points in a victory over rival Nixa in the district championship game.
******
Mav Hawkins Mav Hawkins 6'2" | CG Pembroke Hill | 2026 State MO (Pembroke Hill): A 6’2 2026 guard who was a key reserve on the Raiders’ Class 5 Final Four team. He really broke out at the Final Four with a pair of 20-point games in Springfield. His 3-point shooting is his strength, but he will also do a lot more playmaking this year in addition to his scoring.
******
Antonio Williams (St Joe Lafayette): A 6’2 2025 guard who was a starter on the Irish’ Class 4 third-place team. He’s a smooth lefty who can handle the ball and slash to the basket. With so many key players having graduated, look for him to increase his production from the five points a game that he averaged last season.
******
Landon Schlanger Landon Schlanger 6'7" | PF CBC | 2024 State MO (CBC): A 6’7 2024 forward who is a skilled Stretch 4. He can shoot it from distance and he has a soft touch in the lane. With the Cadets having some key players transfer, Landon has an opportunity to have a strong senior year.

Greg Robinson Greg Robinson 6'7" | PF Hillsboro | 2025 State MO (Hillsboro): A 6’7 2025 forward who saw limited duty last season, so he’ll be an intriguing player to watch. He has good athleticism and a strong motor. He can also shoot the 3-pointer. I was very impressed with what I saw from him during the summer. If it translates, he could be a handful in the JeffCo area.
