From parts of the Upper Peninsula that stretch into the central time zone. To the southern I-10 corridor passing through the Ludington and Reed City areas. These are the geographic borders I am going to use
Sticking with the purpose of this site. I will focus primarily on college potential and not chiefly statistical output. In most cases (not all) this focus will also exclude players who will most likely play other sports at the next level.
30. Trevor Nolan Trevor Nolan 5'8" | PG Munising | 2025 State MI 5-8 2025 Munising Not very big but a straight up winner. Proved it by helping to lead the Mustangs to a state crown as only sophomore. Compensates for small frame with moxie and advanced court sense. Also has a quick left handed release that keeps defenses off balance. Averaged 16 points playing off of do-it-all senior Kane Nebel. I would expect the assist totals to rise as he moves into more of traditional floor general role.
29. Connor Coduti Connor Coduti 6'4" | SF Menominee MI | 2024 State MI 6-4 2024 Menominee Similarly to Nolan, Coduti is a UP prospect with state final experience. Coduti’s appearance came as a sophomore two years ago. Coduti is bigger and coming off good grassroots run with the Wisconsin Blizzard. After helping the Maroons upset Iron Mountain in a bit of rebuilding campaign. Coduti should be ready for a big senior season.
28. Bryce Plesha Bryce Plesha 6'5" | PF Frankfort | 2024 State MI 6-5 2024 Frankfort Will man the front court for a defending state semifinalist. Plesha showed a great deal of improvement during the fall showcase season. Now showing the elevation to finish at and even above the rim. Has always had a nice touch from the perimeter. Stretches it out easily beyond the three point line. Rare for bigs at the Division IV level.
27. Shane Izzard Shane Izzard 5'11" | PG Petoskey | 2024 State MI 5-11 2024 Petoskey Izzard will be the trigger man for the Northmen attack in his senior season. Good all around player who should see an increased role as the Petoskey focus should shift to the perimeter. Coming off a good grassroots campaign with Parallel 45 . Averaged nearly 12 points per game last season. That number should increase as a senior.
26. Cam Gunsell Cam Gunsell 6'3" | SF Ludington | 2026 State MI 6-3 2026 Ludington (pictured) Playing for a deep and perennially strong program. Gunsell received very little varsity run this past season. Earned this placement with strong play this summer for Hardwood Midwest on the Prep Hoops Circuit. An explosive athlete that plays easily above the rim already. Playing at Ludington, you won’t have to worry about defensive ability and effort. Coming off a strong season on the gridiron as well.
25. Drake Koepke Drake Koepke 6'1" | PG Bellaire | 2025 State MI 6-1 2025 Bellaire First of two Eagles on this list from one of the smallest public schools in the state. Has potential as a tall and lanky playmaker. Coaches kid and plays like it. Will need to add strength to take his game to the next level. Averaged 14.5 points per game last season. Active in grassroots basketball and puts the work in. The improvement and maturity should come
24. Cameron Peterson Cameron Peterson 5'10" | PG Rudyard | 2024 State MI 5-10 2024 Rudyard Appeared in the state semifinals way back as freshman. That seems like a long time ago. Peterson has continued to progress throughout his career. Not your typical speed merchant point guard. Has a stocky build and plays with strength. Is a good shooter with a quick release.
23. Jacob Plamondon Jacob Plamondon 6'6" | PF Glen Lake | 2026 State MI 6-6 2026 Maple City Glen Lake For nearly a decade this small school on the shores of the Sleeping Bear Dunes has been pumping out big frontlines. Plamondon is the next up in this lineage. Size and strength make him a walking double double already. As stated the Lakers stout front court limited his varsity opportunities as a freshman. Interesting to see how he adjusts to a bigger role this season.
22. Gavin Goetz Gavin Goetz 6'5" | PF Cadillac | 2025 State MI 6-5 2025 Cadillac Has contributed for a strong Cadillac program since his freshman season. Is a versatile prospect who had an abbreviated run with West Michigan Lakers this summer. Stats won’t jump off the page as he is part of a deep rotation.
21. Jayden Hanson Jayden Hanson 6'4" | PF Bellaire | 2025 State MI 6-5 2025 Bellaire Second Eagle on this list. Coming off a huge sophomore campaign in the Ski Valley conference. Averaged nearly a 20 and 10 double double. Could develop into an ideal stretch four at the next level if he continues to grow vertically. However, has enough talent to succeed if he is done growing as well.
