Continue ReadingOn Monday afternoon we released our updated Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2025 Prospect Rankings. With nearly 400 prospects in our database we ranked the Top 150 and grew our Watch List to over 200 names. Something we do alongside every rankings update is highlight some of the biggest stock-risers in the class. These are the prospects who shot up the rankings the most over the last few months in between updates. Let’s dive on in and take a look at six prospects from across the state that burst onto the scene heading into this high school season.
One of a handful of move-ins to the Indiana High School Basketball scene, this 6’10” prospect from Florida immediately moved Center Grove into the preseason Top 10. Already coming off of a 22-win season, the Trojans now feature a game-changer around the rim. Chigozie debuts at #17 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2025 Prospect Rankings.
Lampkins debuts at #66 in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2025 Prospect Rankings. He burst onto our radar over the summer and is already off to a good start to his junior season with New Albany. Don’t be surprised if you see this 6’4″ wing go from a “New Name” in this update to a “Stock-Riser” in the next one. Very talented player.

Swanson is another new face to Indiana as he came to Evansville Reitz after his father landed a job on the University of Evansville staff. The 5’9″ point guard is no stranger to high-level basketball and will be yet another talented prospect at Reitz this season. He was excellent at Session II of our Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo and comes it at #46 in the rankings.
Arguably the most talented prospect that you may not have heard of in the state to this point is this dynamic scorer from Hauser High School. Tungate has put up big numbers on the grassroots circuit with Craig Porter Elite and averaged just shy of double-figures last season for the Jets. Look for a breakout junior season down in south-central Indiana.
Highlights
Turner is one of several talented juniors at Southport. The 6’4″ wing can really shoot the basketball and should have a breakout senior season after playing behind a massive senior class last season. Indiana’s Class of 2025 is extremely deep but Turner has emerged as a borderline Top 100 prospect.
