Here are the newcomers of PG/CG’s
Zayn Young Zayn Young 6'2" | SG Dobson | 2025 State AZ Dobson (Pictured)
A scoring combo guard has a good feel for the game. He has deep three point range and uses his thicker frame to get downhill and he will bounce off of his opponents to score. He is good on the ball defensively and transferred in from Milwaukee.
Iyzaya Soto Iyzaya Soto 5'11" | CG McClintock | 2026 State AZ McClintock
A son of a coach plays on or off the ball. He shoots it from deep with range and a quick trigger plus sees the court and makes smart reads. He will stick his nose in to rebound and plays with a big IQ.
Mikey Schinstock Mikey Schinstock 6'0" | PG Payson | 2024 State AZ Payson
A high IQ scoring lead has a floater game and can make plays. He moves the ball well and has a nice pull-up from mid-range with a quick trigger. When he has space and time, he will knock down the three.
Omar Fierro-Nava Omar Fierro-Nava 5'8" | PG Payson | 2026 State AZ Payson
An undersized quick on quick scoring lead guard. He is a two level shooter from mid-range and will hit the catch three. He truly loves the pull-up game and he is a very good live dribble passer.
Fauster Johnson Fauster Johnson 6'1" | SG AZ College Prep | 2025 State AZ AZ College Prep
A scoring guard is a good catch three shooter and has long arms to close out to shooters. He is good in transition and can create his own offense off the dribble with side steps and ball fakes scoring on runners and layups. He is quick in the passing lanes to collect steals.
Jacob Maya Jacob Maya 6'1" | CG Pueblo | 2024 AZ Pueblo
A combo guard plays on or off the ball. The lefty has good open court speed and has quick hands to collect steals. He will score inside with no fear and has a sneaky quick first step. He is lean but can take a hit and score thru it after he euros down the lane.
Anthony Carranza Anthony Carranza 5'8" | PG Pueblo | 2026 State AZ Pueblo
The pure point guard for the Warriors has a solid handle with some speed with the ball. He has good court vision and plays from the neck up. He can get into the paint with his handle and score. He is quick on the ball defensively and can check the fast guards on defense.
Jason Cullum Jason Cullum 5'10" | PG Sandra Day O'Connor | 2024 AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
One of the point guards on the team was handling some of the ball handling duties with their starting PG out for the transfer rule. He is very good on the ball defensively and collects steals with a stronger upper body and moves the ball well. He can take a bump in the lane to score and he can shoot it.
Austin Fullmer Austin Fullmer 6'3" | PG ALA Queen Creek | 2025 State AZ ALA Queen Creek
A bigger point guard who has a good feel for the game. He uses the pick and roll to his advantage and often finds a teammate. He plays at his own pace and changes speeds and then throws the dart with a live dribble. He also has a sneaky quick burst to get into the lane and will hit perimeter jumpers.
Paris Walker Paris Walker 5'9" | PG North | 2024 AZ North
A pure point guard who runs the team for them. He can pull-up from the three point line and rattle them off. He has good court vision and plays within himself. He is a good bail out passer where he can make a play last second before he lands and find a teammate.
Vicente Castro Vicente Castro 5'10" | PG North | 2024 AZ North
A high IQ lead guard can score and make plays. He has the runner game and will knock down the three with an unorthodox set shot that goes in. Although he isn’t a jet, he can get by players with hesitation moves and then will make plays with his court vision and feel.
