Monroe Area (24-5)

The Purple Hurricanes graduate seven seniors. [player_tooltip player_id='1062212' first='Vonte' last='Newell'] is the straw that stirs the drink, a terrific passer and shifty playmaker. [player_tooltip player_id='2303961' first='KD' last='Dawson'] emerged as a leading scorer this offseason. [player_tooltip player_id='2301460' first='Jaiven' last='Todd'] will play an important role as a 6-foot-7 stretch-forward. Tripp Griffith saw valuable reps over the spring as an interior presence.

Monroe (21-8)

Monroe is always tough, no matter who is on the roster it seems. Star swingman [player_tooltip player_id='1630105' first='Justin' last='Burns'] is back after averaging 16 points and 6.9 rebounds. The bouncy Burns is an impact maker on both ends of the floor. Lorenzo Still (7.1 ppg) looked good as a top scoring option from the backcourt this spring.

Gilmer (19-10)

Not many programs can boast having a true 7-footer. Jackson McVey averaged 19.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks as a sophomore. His presence is a game-changer in the paint. The Bobcats have length surrounding McVey in 6-foot-4 Ryder Wofford and 6-foot-6 Kohan Davis. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1630080' first='Keegen' last='Bryant'] has a bright future and should serve an invaluable role in Year 2.

Wesleyan (21-8)

Wesleyan has no shortage of experience. [player_tooltip player_id='1300684' first='Josh' last='Kavel'] is one of the toughest guards in the area while James McGriff is an intriguing 6-foot-7 combo-forward that can create mismatches inside and out.
