Dixie might have one of the toughest teams they have had in a long time and their level of play is just different. It might be them against the field and it is hard to bet against the Flyers.
#1 Dixie
Dixie is an absolute machine and right now they start at #1 and that is no surprise to anyone as they return one of the most dominant bigs in the state in Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT . He should average 20 + PPG and just be a tear on the boards. Logan Weisdauer is a great addition who is a 3 that can do work inside and outside. The you have an extension of the coaching staff on the floor with Jordan Roberts Jordan Roberts 6'0" | PG Dixie | 2024 State UT . Also look out for Breackon Robinson outside making some tough jumpers. This team is the favorite for sure.
#2 Ridgeline
Ridgeline has been up for a long time and they will be lead by two really good seniors in Jagger Francom Jagger Francom 6'8" | C Ridgeline | 2024 State UT and Carson Cox Carson Cox 6'4" | CG Ridgeline | 2024 State UT , this inside/outside combo should be a force for them, not to mention the team chemistry that they will have with their role players.
#3 Layton Christian Academy
A team that brings talent to the state for sure and they will only fly under the radar for so long. They have a mixture of young talent and seasoned players. Otavio Armani Otavio Armani 6'5" | CG Layton Christian | 2024 State UT is a really good three-man who has strength and ability to dominate the boards and work inside and out. He has been running the floor very well and he can shoot lights out. Tyrin Jones Tyrin Jones 6'9" | CG Layton Christian | 2025 State UT is another notable player that can be a game changer with that length, kinda reminds you of a Brandon Ingram, With these teo players alone they will be a problem for sure.
#4 Snow Canyon
Snow Canyon could be a sleeper in thsi class and that is mainly because they have Owen Mackay Owen Mackay 6'5" | CG Snow Canyon | 2024 State UT , the recent Utah Tech University commit is explosive and will be an absolute highlight film all year long. They have some solid players pn this team that allow them to play in the half court and run up and down the floor, they also have a little bit of size that will help them too.
#5 Crimson Cliffs
Crimson Cliffs has a shot to make some noise and they have a big fella that has finally started to develop at the right time in Sean Felts Sean Felts 6'10" | C Crimson Cliffs | 2024 State UT . The nearly 7’0 big runs the floor wella nd his size opens things up for everyone around him and on the defensive soide of the ball he is a presence and rim protector for sure.
#6 Green Canyon
Green Canyon has one of the best scorers in the state with Jared Anderson Jared Anderson 6'0" | SG Green Canyon | 2024 State UT a player that can stretch the floor with his shooting and he will also get some help from Gavin Crane Gavin Crane 6'5" | PF Green Canyon | 2026 State UT an athlete that does a little bit of everything.
#7 Sky View
Sky View has a player on their team that could likely change things in a hurry and that is Tanner Davis Tanner Davis 6'5" | PG Sky View | 2024 State UT . Tanner has size and scoring ability and he is an active defender. He might get the kitchen sink thrown at him this year on defense but he is a scoring machine and if he is on he could carry any team to a deep run.
#8 Murray
Murray always finds a way to compete and they have some youngsters that can really play. Look out for players like Isaiah Beh Isaiah Beh 6'5" | CG Murray | 2026 State UT who can go. He is getting taller and taller and he uses that strength and height to do work in the mid-post area. He also shoots the rock well. Quinton Christman Quinton Christman 5'10" | PG Murray | 2024 State UT is a player that can get in the lane and make tings happen. Blayke Chand Blayke Chand 6'2" | CG Murray | 2026 State UT and Tryce Wilson can also score the ball too.
#9 Mountain View
Mountain View could surprise people with the play of a much improved team. Bryce Mella Bryce Mella 6'5" | CG Mountain View | 2026 State UT is the real deal and his skill level to play multiple positions is key. He is a grab and go bigger guard that can score at all three-levels.
#10 Cottonwood
Cottonwood looks much different than they did last year but do not count them out. They have players that can score at all positions and John Rosevear John Rosevear 6'1" | PG Cottonwood | 2025 State UT has been playing well.
