Will Spross Will Spross 6'2" | PG St. Joseph Academy | 2026 State NJ , 6’2 PG St. Joseph Academy
Spross is primed for a breakout sophomore campaign as he should have the ball in his hands more this season. The 6’2 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. Spross has a nice touch on his floater and can also knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He gets deflections on the defensive end and can thread passes to his teammates in the halfcourt. Spross is a shifty guard prospect who should put up big numbers this season.
Shaan Nayar Shaan Nayar 6'1" | PG Ranney | 2026 State NJ , 6’0 PG Ranney
Nayar will shoulder a bigger scoring load this season as the Panthers need to replace their two top scorers from 2022-23. The 6’0 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Nayar uses his handle to create space for himself on the perimeter and can finish around the basket. He can also play off the ball and slides his feet on the defensive end. Nayar’s ability to get hot from distance is something that will help his stock in a big way in 2023-24.
Tyler Cameron Tyler Cameron 6'0" | CG St. Rose | 2026 State NJ , 6’0 CG St. Rose
Cameron will be one of the first guards off the bench for the Purple Roses this season and will have a vital role for them in 2023-24. The 6’0 guard is a tough on-ball defender as he makes it tough for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Cameron moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He has a solid handle and can knock down open jumpers in the halfcourt. Cameron is a gritty, guard prospect whose ability to defend the ball will help St. Rose throughout the season.
Ilan Santos Ilan Santos 6'1" | CG St. Mary's Rutherford | 2026 State NJ , 6’1 CG St. Mary’s Rutherford
Santos has the potential to have a strong sophomore season as he should get more touches on the offensive end. The 6’1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender off the bounce and finish around the rim. Santos can also score in the mid-range and is an underrated passer. He works hard on defense and is a strong rebounder for a guard. Santos will be counted on to make an impact off the bench this season with his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands.
Jasahn Canary Jasahn Canary 6'5" | PF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2026 State NJ , 6’5 PF St. Thomas Aquinas
Canary will receive touches down low this season, which will help his game in a big way. The 6’5 forward uses his body to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Canary does not mind drawing contact and sets good screens in the halfcourt. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Canary is a physical forward prospect who will be looking to make an impact in the paint this season for the Trojans.
