Which class of 2024 forwards should you keep an eye on this winter?

[player_tooltip player_id='1193219' first='Theo' last='Schofield'] -- SF -- Sun Prairie West

Schofield has become one of the most skilled frontcourt prospects in the state. Previously a paint operator, Schofield has expanded his game and is now a threat from beyond the arc. He has a smooth catch-and-shoot jumper that often finds the bottom of the net. As a low post player, Schofield is excellent. He uses his strength to bully smaller defenders and his speed and excellent footwork to maneuver around bigger ones. On the defensive end, the Sun Prairie West prospect is stout. He rebounds well and also can move his feet on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1364523' first='Jace' last='Gilbert'] -- PF -- Arrowhead

Gilbert -- who is committed to Iowa State to play football -- is poised to make some noise on the court this season. The Arrowhead power forward is a bruiser in the paint. Regardless of how much time is left or the score of the game, you can count on Gilbert making defenders work. He has great footwork is the low post along with the strength to out-muscle just about anyone. Even though football is in Gilbert's future, he should have some great moments on the hardwood this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1887196' first='J.J.' last='Douglas'] -- PF -- Janesville Parker

Projected to be a first team performer in the Big Eight this year by Prep Hoops Wisconsin's Evan Flood, Douglas enters this season with hefty expectations. The power forward is one of the best rebounders in the state. Anytime a shot goes up, you can bet that Douglas will be in great position to snag a rebound. Douglas is also capable of putting the ball in the cup. He averaged 17 points per game as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489811' first='Aiden' last='Krause'] -- SF -- Muskego

In the paint, Krause is a dominate force. The 6-foot-4 small forward is an excellent finisher at or around the rim. He possesses great touch, which is often why he makes difficult shots look easy. Krause's high basketball IQ allows his to find great success on the floor. More often than not, the small forward makes the right cut or pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1171037' first='Langdon' last='Nordgaard'] -- SF -- West De Pere

Nordgaard has really impressed in past seasons, and I expect much of the same from him this winter. The 6-foot-3 small forward makes an impact on both ends of the court. He plays tough defense and can guard multiple positions. On the offensive end, the West De Pere standout is a great slasher and finisher at the rim. Overall, Nordgaard is a winning player who makes excellent plays on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='1855860' first='Logan' last='Bahr'] -- PF -- Luther

Bahr is a physical force who often puts his size and strength to good use on the low block. The 6-foot-7 Luther standout can knockdown mid-range jumpers and is also a threat from three-point range. He rebounds the ball well on the defensive end and has proven to be a capable rim protector. There is a lot to like about Bahr's game and I look forward to seeing him play this winter.
