Prep Hoops Florida is taking a look at the preseason all-state teams for the upcoming season. We have a lot of new faces in new places this season and are excited to tip-off next month. Here are the nominees for the Class 2A Player of the Year this season. Voting will end on Monday, October 16.
The 6-10 sophomore power forward is an intriguing prospect to watch as he averaged 15.1 points, 11.2 rebounds and nearly seven blocks per game last season. Bryant holds offers from Arizona State, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Iowa, South Florida and several others.
The 6-5 senior guard and University of Florida commit with a pure left-handed shooting stroke from the mid-range as well as from beyond the arc.
Reigning All-State 1st Team and averaged 27.6 points per game for Victory Christian Academy reaching the regional final last season. Cason is a Florida Atlantic commit.

The 6-2 sophomore guard has strong fundamentals when he has the basketball in his hands. High IQ and a great decision maker.
Ramone Seals Ramone Seals 6'4" | CG SLAM Tampa | 2024 State FL
The 6-5 guard and recent Kennesaw State commit has a knack for finishing above the rim. Seals averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a junior last season. Seals led his team to their first Final Four appearance in school history as a junior.
The 6-3 senior guard is very productive on the offensive end of the floor whether it’s facilitating to his teammates or scoring at the rim in transition. Thompson has also improved his rebounding game on both ends of the floor where he averaged nearly four rebounds per game last season.
