Today we scoured the Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings to uncover five prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who we would offer a college scholarship right now.
College coaches need to stop sleeping on the players below and contact them immediately.
No. 35…Gabe Tanner – 6’4″ / Perkiomen School / We R1 / Shooting Guard: St. Joe’s and Bryant have already offered Tanner, but we believe this multi-dimensional guard should be holding at least a dozen offers by now. Tanner can splash threes all day or put the ball on the deck and get to the rim. Plus, he can finish through contact in transition. At the other end, his length and quick lateral movements enable Tanner to guard 1 through 4.
No. 87… Isaiah Marshall Isaiah Marshall 6'2" | CG Friends Select | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / Friends Select School / Team Final Red / Combo Guard: Marshall (FSL All-League in 2022-23) showed significant advancement in his skills during Check Rock League back in August. He scored at all three levels and at times and displayed the ability to play as a rocky steady point guard. Additionally, Marshall is an excellent open court player who can score or distribute on the fast break. His ability to use his body to ward off defenders while dribbling full speed is impressive too.
No. 91… Everett Barnes Everett Barnes 6'9" | C Father Judge | 2025 State PA – 6’9″ / Father Judge / Philly Pride UAA / Power Forward: Barnes (9 ppg.; 7.5 rpg. & 3bpg. last season) is an old school power forward. Thus, he does the bulk of his scoring work in close. Barnes owns a nice bag of post-up moves and can dive to the rim for catch and lay-in. He is also a beast on the offensive glass who can convert through fouls. On defense, Barnes is a fantastic rebounder and shot blocker. Robert Morris sent Barnes and offer, but more college coaches should send this big fella an offer immediately.
No. 104… Brandon Williams Brandon Williams 6'4" | CG West Philladelphia | 2025 State PA – 6’4″ / West Philly / BW Elite / Shooting Guard: Plain and simple, Williams is a shot maker. From stand still and step back threes to pull-up mid-range jumpers to floaters in traffic – Williams knocks all those shots down and more. As a bonus to his shooting, Williams possesses the athleticism, speed and finishing skills to contribute on the fast break. His play at the Check Rock League in August turned heads and Williams has been outstanding this fall as well. So, we expect college offers are about to come rolling in for Williams.
No. 173… Jaen Chatman Jaen Chatman 6'2" | CG East Stroudsburg South | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / East Stroudsburg South / NJ Panthers / Combo Guard: Back in August, Chatman was tremendous at the HG Invite Only Camp and then again at the A-Town Throwdown. His stellar play has continued this fall. Chatman checks a lot of boxes that college coaches love. He produces points at every level, distributes and plays lockdown defense. Chatman also owns a non-stop motor and is an excellent communicator on the court. He is getting interest from a handful of mid-majors, but it is time for colleges to wake up and offer this high-level guard prospect.
