Hilongos is a nice all-around forward who can put the ball on the floor and also play in the low post. At 6’5″ he can work the posted area well with his strong upper body and moves. He has a soft touch around the rim with both hands and sells the pump fake well on his offensive rebound putbacks. He can step out to the midrange and three-point area to hit some jumpers making him a tough guard for anyone.
Elwell is a dominant inside player who likes to seek contact when going up to the rim. He has good post moves and gets good positioning when looking to receive the ball in the post. Elwell has a soft touch around the rim and can finish over multiple defenders looking to stop him. He crashes the glass at a high level coming up with double-digit rebounds numerous times and is turning himself into a nice shot-blocker.
Grubbs is still a raw player on both ends of the floor but has shown signs of potential to be a more consistent player. At 6’4″ the power forward position makes him versatile wherever he goes. He can guard one through five and moves laterally very well. He can finish at the rim with both hands and will look to use his strong size to bully his way into the paint. Grubbs does a nice job of boxing out bigger players and has quick timing on his jumps for rebounds.
Whelan can play and guard multiple positions standing at 6’5″. He is pretty quick and agile for his size allowing him to run the floor nicely to receive open passes for easy baskets. He can finish around the rim well and can knock down some midrange jumpers in the process. On defense, he moves laterally like a guard and has excellent timing on when to intercept the passing lanes.
Canary is a force down in the painted/posted area. At 6’5″ with a strong upper body, he can seek contact from multiple defenders and is unfazed when finishing at the basket. He’s got a nice touch on his post-hook game and has excellent timing on offensive rebounds and putbacks. Canary can box out bigger players with ease and can throw some accurate outlet passes to start a fastbreak.
