Springville has a young duo but they are good and they have been playing with each other for a long time now, so they do a great job of getting the ball to each other in the right spots. Jamyn has been becoming one of those players that you can’t stop you just have to contain. He is 6’10 with a 7’0 wingspn so you can imagine how hard it is for some high school big to stop him. He is a big body that catches the ball well and has a soft touch. Pick n’ roll is tough. Mason on the other hand has a strong perimeter foundation but as a PG he is quick and can turn things up by pushing the tempo. He passes the ball with sharp precision and if you help off of him he is ready to launch. This Duo is going to be tough in Region 7.
Orem
Orem in time might be that scary team that you do not want to play in the tournament because they have some of the best two way guards in the state that have great positional size, and play making ability. Anthony has really elevated his play and he is projecting as a HM prospect. With various colleges on him already he is bound to show a lot of electric plays. He will be playing above the rim and how he is shooting from deep he is going to be hard to stop. Jax is a new face in Orem but he is not new to high level play. Jax is going to be a stat stuffer rebounding, assisting and doing all the little things including defending 1-4 if he has to.
Highlights
Timpview
Timpview is in a position to play with house money as they will be leaning on some young players and although they are good it will be understandable if they do not win a lot of games like they usually do, but with that said this duo can change things quickly. Dean is one of the best shooting forwards in the Class of 2026 in the country and with his size and playmaking ability. He could be a big time player this year as he is ready to take lead and make things happen. He plays the right way so he does move the ball but he also does a great job of knowing when he needs to take over. Mason is slowly making a big jump into how he can impactthe game with his heady/high IQ play. He is a lanky PG that protects the ball and he is a ball mover and when he has to he can get a bucket off the bounce and he can catch and shoot as well. This young duo will be solid for years to come.

Maple Mountain
This duo might just surprise everyone and make a big splash this year, especially with how focused and game ready Brogan is right now. He has been killing it in the Utah Top 50 league and he has been doing it in various ways. Brogan has that shooting ability and when he gets hot he si going to let it fly and he works hard to get open. He has really shown that he can play at a high level which will start to help him pick up interest at small schools at the next level. Brogan has a handle and can handle pressure and defensively he is active. Bennett another bigger wing that might be able to addto his productive season he had a year ago. This duo could average 30+ per game with ease. Keep and eye on Maple Mountain.
