Here are some of the top tandems in 1A (in no particular order):

Dighton – [player_tooltip player_id='1588418' first='Daniel' last='Cramer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1378446' first='Carson' last='Shimer']:

A classic inside/outside combo, guard Cramer has earned a ton of accolades already in his career as one of the top guards in the 1A ranks. He was one of the state leaders in both steals and assists as a sophomore. Shimer is ready for a huge senior year after dealing with injuries. He's a double-double threat who blocks shots and is athletic for a 6-foot-4 post.

South Gray – [player_tooltip player_id='1953933' first='Joey' last='Dyck'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2387779' first='Dominic' last='Martin']:

A pair of seniors with good size and versatility to play guard or forward, Dyck and Martin will be a tandem to watch this year. Dyck starred in the state tournament a year ago, but Martin was really good as well for the third-place Rebels. Both can handle the ball and both get after it on the glass.

LaCrosse – Gage Burk and [player_tooltip player_id='1953954' first='Caden' last='Morgan']:

The Leopards return a lot of talent, led by seniors Burk and Morgan. Morgan is a versatile forward who can shoot from the perimeter, distribute the ball and is an active defender. Burk is a long, lean interior player who defends the lane and passes well from his position. They will give LaCrosse a long frontline.

Elyria Christian – [player_tooltip player_id='1772994' first='Ty' last='Romero'] and Johnny Unruh:

Elyria Christian has a ton of size for a small school. They are led by Romero, who has the length of a center, but the skills of a guard. He handles the ball, passes and shoots with great skill and has nice athleticism in a long, thin frame. Unruh is not as tall, but just about as versatile. He is a distributor who also creates havoc on the defensive end.

Lebo – [player_tooltip player_id='2393818' first='Zach' last='Oswald'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2387736' first='Grayson' last='Shoemaker']:

Another pair of versatile, interchangeable parts, Oswald and Shoemaker stuffed the stat sheet for the Wolves en route to state last year. Shoemaker had a 30-point game at the tournament. They each get after it on the glass too. With some good 2023s graduated from the program, these two should carry an even bigger load as seniors.
