With several scouts, college coaches, and media personnel in attendance, prospects had the perfect opportunity to generate exposure for themselves going into their respective winter seasons. Take a look below at who stood out this weekend on Team 1!
Tzyon Patterson
Tzyon Patterson
Tzyon Patterson looked really sharp Sunday afternoon. He stood out due to his high motor and defensive intensity. Patterson’s pressure while guarding the ball was next level, as he collected several steals which resulted in easy transition buckets. On the offensive side, Patterson had some crafty finishes around the rim, finding ways to score with both hands. He has a confident looking outside shot to pair with his elite driving/finishing abilities. I expect him to play an important role for a talented Omaha Westview squad this upcoming season.
Justin Anderson
Justin Anderson
It was hard to find someone that played as hard as Anderson did this weekend- especially defensively. His energy was spectacular. Even when Anderson grew fatigued, he still put forth his best effort. There were times when Anderson extended his ball pressure past half court, which is rare for an exposure camp. There is no doubt that he was a top defender this weekend, and may have led the camp in total steals. Offensively, Anderson had a lot of tough takes to the basket, and hit some tough mid range shots over longer defenders. He is a treat to watch because of how hard he competes and the talent he possess.
Camden Dalinghaus Camden Dalinghaus 6’1″ | PG Johnson Brock | 2025 State NE was a prospect I was excited to check out this weekend. Going in, I heard good things about him from folks in the area. Dalinghaus performed well at the camp, as his three point shooting ability stood out amongst the rest. He has deep range with a smooth stroke and nice rotation. He also is a very smart, under control guard who seeks out physicality on his drives. I like his game, and can’t wait to watch him progress.
Vincent Long Vincent Long 6’3″ | PG Millard West | 2026 NE has such a smooth and polished game. As a 6’2 guard, he can play on or off the ball. Long found success driving past slower defenders and finishing over shot blockers in the lane. His length and athleticism make him a threat to score in the paint. He also has a pretty outside jump shot, as he connected on several threes throughout the afternoon. For a guard, he is a talented defensive rebounder, and is not afraid to get physical inside. Long has a bright future if he continues to work at his game.
Highlights
Another prospect I was excited to watch play live was Henry Houlihan Henry Houlihan 5’11” | PG Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE of Omaha Skutt and AEF . He had a successful summer running with AEF , and continued to build off of that momentum at the TOP 250 Expo. He is an incredibly tough guard, and plays bigger than he is listed. Houlihan had several tough takes to the rim and finishes through contact. Defensively, he caused problems for opposing players due to his aggressive play. He’s a team first player who plays the game the right way and with a chip on his shoulder, which is what coaches need out of the point guard position.
