Conference Commentary
Top Contenders: Carlton-Wrenshall, Cromwell-Wright
Based on all the returning players from Carlton and Wrenshall, and of course the schools combining, Carlton-Wrenshall should be very good assuming the chemistry comes together well. They have last year’s league MVP, two first team players and a second team player all joining together. That’s going to be tough to beat.
Cromwell-Wright doesn’t have quite that type of firepower but in some ways what they have might be better: they have five of their top seven players (two of which were all league) returning with a chemistry that is set. Carlton-Wrenshall has the bigger upside with returning talent but Cromwell-Wright’s players have been through things together already.
Compete with Most: Floodwood, McGregor
Floodwood was somewhat of an up and comer last year. They have some good young players and I would expect them to be a bit better. McGregor was hit the hardest by graduation although they do have a couple rotation guys back.
