Games were held at several sites including Bishop Gorman HS, Coronado HS, Silverado HS, Las Vegas Basketball Center, and Cimarron HS. Some of the top matchups included LABC (Harvard Westlake) vs Prolific Prep, Wasatch Academy vs Overtime Elite, and Columbus (Miami, FL) vs Florida Eagles (Montverde Academy).
Ikenna was excellent this weekend in Dream City Christian’s wins over the Blue Knights (Notre Dame Sherman Oaks), the Storm Hoopers (Owyhee HS) and St. John Bosco. He was his typical dynamic self in transition, defended competitively, and attacked closeouts well in the half court.
Luke shot the ball effectively from three in Dream City Christian’s wins over the Blue Knights (Notre Dame Sherman Oaks), the Storm Hoopers (Owyhee HS) and St. John Bosco. He is constantly moving without the ball on the offensive end and has a quick release that allows him to be effective when he’s able to find space/create separation.

Linus showed off his 3 point shooting ability this weekend in Colorado Prep’s wins over 1 Dream (St. Josephs HS, CA), Rancho Christian, and Eagle Select (Santa Margarita HS). He confidently takes and makes 3’s off the catch and dribble and makes smart, on time passes playing the pick n’roll.

Tyson contributed and made plays all over the court for Dixie this weekend in their wins over ABC Prep National (Albuquerque, NM), West Ranch, and Utah Prep. He is a consistent three point shooter, a good passer/playmaker, and grabs rebounds on the defensive end to initiate fast break opportunities.
James showed off his ever improving physicality for West Ranch this weekend as they were able to beat Western Canada Prep Academy. He excels attacking the basket, scoring in the paint, and playing in the post against smaller defenders. Evans is also a strong defender who authoritatively grabs rebounds and a confident perimeter shooter who can hurt teams in the mid range and from three.
Kyle dominated on the interior all weekend for Dixie in their wins over ABC Prep National (Albuquerque, NM), West Ranch, and Utah Prep. He has tremendous footwork and a mature understanding of how to position his body in the post so even long armed defenders can’t effect his shot and has good touch to convert those opportunities. Lemke is also very strong and utilizes his strength well to play effective post defense and box out to get rebounds and successfully end defensive possessions.
